Favorite would be the CJ7. My first was a 78 but it was stolen and stripped shortly afterwards back in the 80's. I'm currently driving my 85 as a daily driver that I've had since 97. I built up the Jeep similiar to the build in this video back in 2000 and drove it for a few years until I got married, had kids, then it became my weekend joy ride. Now that the kids are almost grown and completing high school I'm slowly getting into another build to update what is already existing on the Jeep. No need to go too extreme. I won't be selling my 85 anytime soon as it's a reminder of great memories of the past growing up and plenty more to come.
Hey Nic! I grew up wheeling with my dad in his 1964 FJ40 he found out of field in high school, he still has it to this day and keeps pushing the limits with it. This rig started my addition for offroad and building my own rigs.
My aunt and uncle had a CJ-7 which became my dad's. Many years back we took it hunting and it reignited my flame for Jeeps. I drove it across the state and back and shortly after got myself a Jeep again. So yeah the CJ7 holds a great number 1 spot for favorite Jeep and off road rig. It was nearly stock and just went everywhere I asked it.
I gotta say I do love the CJ. Just the way they're built you know they're solid. From the day our neighbors up the street took me for a ride in theirs I fell in love and knew someday I wanted to own one. We'll, here I am an owner of a jeep. Not a CJ but I still get to wheel and see some amazing jeeps. Y'all rock. Can't wait to see ya'll this Thursday at SMORR. The Oklahoma crew will be there in big numbers yet again.
My '79 CJ7 was my dream! It's a Jeep I drew up on paper (still have paper) when I was 17 from reading magazines. Built from the frame up with late 90s to early 2Ks tech. Got to take it on the Rubicon Jeeper's Jamboree on it's shakedown run with my dad in 2006.
I really like the TJ. My girlfriends Aunt has one and after seeing the capability of them on this channel to be trail beasts, I am looking at getting my own to start building.
my favorite is the LJ. I got my dream jeep 4 years ago and it is a 2006 LJ Rubicon with automatic. Have spent a lot of time thinking about upgrades and working towards making my dream come true.
Well my dream jeep is a Cj7 And I’m currently building a 85 cj7 the way I’ve always wanted, sbc350 fully redone, new axle parts, stretched rear, full leaf springs, and a cage Ditched my Xj for it and I couldn’t be happier building my dream jeep for my daughter to enjoy
Started out wheeling in az with my dad in an old cj. As i got older i got back into wheeling and would have to say my favorite rig is my yj. The tj I have is great but it still only 2nd, to my yj.
I grew up in CJs and Wagoneers, but my favorite is my current JK build. 6.6L, 1 tons, 40” Mickey Thompson Baja Bosses, 8 speed, PSC Hydro assist, Falcon 3.3 adjustable shocks, MetalCloak skids, and 17”KMC beadlocks.
I got into wheeling in the JKU i owned. But I have ZERO complaints from upgrading to a JLU Rubicon i love it. so its my favorite. but i desire to heavily build it like many rockstar garage rigs are!
My love is mostly for the XJ, got two and a ZJ at the moment, but any of the older gen Jeeps from XJ/ZJ/YJ back to the OG GPW do it for me. Would ultimately love to do a restomod on a GPW or CJ
I love the old Toyota fj I think it just looks like it would climb a tree as they say I love the one fadrats did more ppl should find those an fix them up instead of them rusting away
