The Original Monster Truck Bigfoot #1 being unloaded from the trailer and changing tires for the Animal Jim's Classic Car Show & Swap Meet on May 31, 2014 at the Marshall County Sand Trap, in Lacon, IL.
I have a 1/18 diecast scale of this truck. I would love to have a 1/12 scale of it though. It's so awesome to look at it, can't imagine what the experience of driving it would be like. I was in elementary school when this truck first came out and everyone was so marveled towards it at first glance. Cool to see this legacy is surviving well.
No cousins were harmed during the filming of this...………...lol jokes aside damn I remember this legend from when I was a child good times and memories. Always loved this truck.
The ease with which the dude throws that aluminum ramp up into the truck at the beginning! Hard to imagine. I have little steel ladder ramps for my 18' car trailer that I can literally barely move. Not an exaggeration. I can't believe anything strong enough to support a truck that heavy can be lifted by hand. And the way they throw those tires around getting them off the truck and into position. These guys look fairly normal but are apparently like the bad guys in the bionic man or six million dollar man. Remember they looked like humans and then inevitably one of their faces would get torn off revealing the robot inside. Yes I'm that old lol. Born late 60's. Worshipped this truck when it came out. Glad to see they are still making rounds. Go BIGFOOT! 💪. Sidenote: I wanted to use a USA or American flag emoji but a pride flag was the only one available on YT so I opted out. At least Bigfoot is wearing one proudly.
Always great to see BF #1 out and about. And seeing Jim Kramer still very much a part of things, even better. BIGFOOT !!!! Still the original, Still the BEST !!!
Jim is just an awesome man. He can't get away from the sport no matter what. He's always got his hand in something around Bigfoot, and I'm sure everyone is glad for that.
Dos preguntas, primero ese camion es AWD? y para hacer un giro lo hace solo con las llantas traseras? o con las 4 llantas?? Me parece que solo gira con las llantas traseras como los montacargas.... sera mejor asi? que ventajas tiene?
That's the original Bigfoot #1? Damn that shine almost makes it look like the retro bigfoot out and about lol. But glad to see Jim still driving it. Isn't he VP of Bigfoot anyway?
Actually, he recently retired as VP of the company. Former driver Dan Runte now holds that role. Kramer has never owned the truck though, as it has always been owned by Bob and Marilyn Chandler.
They don't run 80kph, tire balancing is needed when you are into 80kph So, they will not do that actually and probably the engine can't withstand those heavy tires to do that
The speed rola is the device on cars to meshure speed it spins with wheal hub if it spins to fast it's going to brake replacement is lenghley and costley going to have a macanick balence it reconfigure the computer
The terrible camera angle is what ruined it for me. Seriously, lets put this monster tire in front of everything and position the camera 50ft away from anything going on.
I highly doubt if they could even do it. Basically they would only save a few minutes because of the quantity of people working. Tools are no where near the same. It would just be extra people getting in the way.
