As a kid, I got to ride in that truck. My older brother took me and my sister to see this new thing called monster trucks. They ran over cars and thru a mud pit. One lucky ticket holder got a ride in Bigfoot. My sister was the winner. Loving her little brother, she let me go for the ride instead. I was given the choice between over the cars or thru the mud. I asked why not both? With a grin, we did both. The sound this thing made was without description and the vibration shook everything. Was a memory and a smile I'll never forget. Love ya sis

Hey guys. Just an old mechanic trick. Those screens aren't there to catch debris or broken parts. They're there to help atomize the fuel for greater horsepower. In the days of carbs we knew that fuel under high demand just splashed into the cylinders usually the ones closest to the carb. By adding a screen one could atomize the fuel making it spread to other cylinders and producing a mist of fuel (think poor man's fuel injection) producing better burn and and in turn more power. Learned that at auto trade school from an old school mechanic who used to race dirt track cars.

I must say that I really like Howard’s Cams. They make good stuff and are often cheaper than their competitor’s comparable items. The last item I ordered was a set which included the cam, lifters and valve springs. That particular grind made a big difference in power/torque, worked well, and was probably $50 cheaper than Comp or Crane for a similar set in those brands. Others are great too but I’ve just always been partial to Howard’s I guess. Everyone reading this have a great day and God bless!!

I wish they'd swallow their pride and compete in the Monster Jam series. Seeing Grave Digger and Bigfoot side by side would the most epic thing ever. I get it- Bigfoot was the original- but monster trucks in general are larger than bigfoot itself now. It's time to join the gang for the fans.
@nathanmcdonald610

I disagree, I'm glad Bob didn't ever sell out to Monster Jam, I'm glad to see Bigfoot staying in pure racing even if it means less exposure for the truck. Grave Digger isn't owned by Dennis Anderson anymore and nor would Bigfoot by Bob and his family if they chose to compete in Monster Jam. I don't blame him for keeping the business to himself, I'm glad to know he's truly in it for the betterment of the sport and not just to make as much money as possible.

Oh god…… This was the finest big foot truck of my childhood……. You had weirdo big foots with crazy slim very high wheels, or other strange trucks… And you’ve got this one. That was the ULTIMATE one, the perfection. You watched it and directly felt THIS IS THE ONE. INSTANT CLASSIC. You’ve got that feeling that was the definition of a big foot / monster truck. And then we had a ton of different legendary RC big foots inspired by this one: Tamiya, Kyosho………… I miss my eighties so much. And big foot/monster trucks got REAL car bodies at this time and it changes EVERYTHING. Big salute 🫡 from France, I was a little kid fascinated by these beautiful monsters. ViNZ.

I know, this shit is so fake, That is not the engine that was in it, FORD MUST OF PAYED THEM TO SAY IT HAD THERE ENGINE IN IT. Because when you look at some of the old video's on You tube you can clearly see it has a big block Chevy in it.

Now this is a cool off-road duo. Barry writes, "Hey TFL and TFL Fans, Love the recent videos featuring the Land Rover and the Tesla issues. I wanted to show two of my trucks. One is a 1975 Land Rover Series 3, and the other is a 2019 Suzuki Jimny. Both vehicles are perfect for my current location of Vientiane, Laos. Our road infrastructure makes traveling over 50mph dangerous. Both trucks suck at highway speeds. The short wheelbase makes parking and navigating narrow streets a breeze. The best part of the Land Rover is the police never stop me because they think I'm a soldier or that I'm poor. I can't wait until the new Bronco comes out. It's like the Series 3 and the Jimny had a child. Too bad the 2.7L doesn't come in manual. Keep up the great vids, Barry"

They metal gauze in the carbs aren't "catch screens" they are flame arrestors. They should be removed if the engine isn't going back into a boat.

Maybe they left them in there as a parts catcher, the engine and truck worked back in the day and I'm sure they knew what they were doing so why be a RU-vidr comment warrior?
