The girl who plays the Sour Kangaroo in my play slays at her part it's AMAZING(the baby kangaroo is adorable too!) !! She knows a lot of her lines and it's only been a few practices! I'm a who and kinda wish I was a jungle citizen or bird girl because I like the songs in the Jungle of Nool better!
In my play I'm the sour kangaroo and it's my first lead and I'm so excited it's in two weeks... this is the sassiest role ever. I'm super scared though too.. my double who just got back from vacation is super good as well but we're really good friends and I feel like I'm not doing my best. I'm super amazed at her and I don't know how to be like her.. So I was saying my part my best and today my teacher just gave me a compliment and told me that I did the best. I was the Sour kangaroo in my production of Seussical jr and it was my first time ever in a musical. Little kids wanted autographs and a little girl curtsied to me and I curtsied back! We had to be in character when we went to the bathroom during intermission and people wanted pictures with me! I loved playing this character and I made a lot of memorize during this experience☺️

It's hard to believe it's all over... I was the Sour Kangaroo and we just finished last night. Everything went by so quickly, I love my friends that I met there and all the inside jokes we shared. At the end, on of the ensemble members gave me a drawn picture of the Sour Kangaroo. She did one of Horton, Mayzie, and my character. That just made me want to cry. At first I was skeptical of this show but I've fallen in love with it. Right now I'm in that haze after you finish a show and it's killing me. All I can to explain how I feel right now, well... I just saw last night that I got the Sour kangaroo and was so excited!!! when i first heard seussical for my last play with the place im at, i was like, "what... 😒 srsly?" but im definitly warming up to it more!!! I’m the sour kangaroo in my towns production of suessical jr,and very excited!But this is the song that I most worried doing since she sings very sassy in her songs!But I have gotten so much support and compliments so it’s helping my confidence!🤩

I remember when I did this song in a community play during summer...I played the main sneetch, a fish and a hunter....During this part I had to wave around big tree branches with ornaments, they ALWAYS got tangled! XD Don`t let a 4th grader wave around tree branches...

I already memorized my lines and half of the songs I don't even sing in x) I just love how silly and random the Cat gets to be and I can't wait to leave the crowd with stars in their eyes :) Anyway I've got to go pluck some feathers from Gertrude McFuzz! @SuperSmileyDiva Well my last performance was Friday night, and the most important thing you need to ALWAYS have as a trait for being the Cat, is IMPROVISATION. A lot of the role is being quick on you toes, and being able to give the crowd a really good laugh. Stage energy is the trait that will make you the most beloved character of the show.

I just passed up 2 people to get sour kangaroo they were horrible so my teacher was like "Kiya I need you" I was like yess I know you do". Lol I am so excited the pmay is in March!! wish me luck.
