Absolutely love fishing in the winter myself for that very reason. You don't usually catch as many, but the quality is better. Thank you for sharing your videos.
@@DieterMelhorn Dieter if I had the money for me and my brother to go out fishing with you I would love to go out and catch big catfish let that the biggest catfish I have ever caught was 14 or 15 pound can't say for sure had no scale I caught it on a cane pole and that was really fun
@@DieterMelhorn I love to see big flatheads as do you I’m sure my personal best was 64 pounds caught in Sangchris lake Illinois which is were the state record was grabbed not sure on weight of that one but it broke 100 if I believe Great Lake though recommend to anyone around here MONSTERS
I've never caught anything bigger than 8 pound drum off an Indiana River. I'm hoping to catch my big cat in washington. Thanks Dieter for the inspiration
Oh my god... That's a long fish! I'm 6'3" and that's almost halfway up my torso! I feel your pain on being your own net man when your hearts pounding 😂😂
😂 how many chances that fish gonna give you to net him. Absolutely a world class fish for any lake. Hope to hook into me a monster on wylie one of these days
