@@gillespriod5509 there was this one time at banger racing, this ladies car flipped and it must have been really serious as the stewards/paramedics put sheets around the car so nobody could see what was happening. She was put on those stretchers as it could of been a neck injury. A few days later it was announced that she was fine and it was just a bad crash with shock. I don’t understand how they do it and survive
@@Kiahneash i cant tell you for how it was in the old days, but i think a lot of it is a true testament to the success of the hans device, roll cages, helmets, and the five point harness. without these tools even simple crashes at 20 mph could seriously injure someone or worse
@@IschiVezon late response but I’m sure it’s also important that car crashes on the road are completely unexpected, while these drivers know how to prepare for a hit. Maybe not, I’m no expert
On mass take your masks off we all know covid is absolute BS!!! its not a virus its the fucking flu man! no big fucking wank and no lock down for the flu! my wife had the flu, i slept right next to her they say she had no covid but we know that BS, i didnt get it, and i slept right next to her! every night! its not a virus, the flu is not a virus! you get it when u are run down! achy muscles, low energy, no big deal, you take vitamins, x 2 multi , x 2 Vitamin C, 2x ZInc, and x 2 Vitamin D and you will be better within 3 days if you dont take any pharmaceutical drugs or have an underlying health condition. If you take pharma drugs it could take you 5 to 14 days to recover as your immune system will automatically be lower becasuse of. So you have nothing to loose try the above, its natural vitamins. My wife did it and she was better in 3 days!!! No drugs neede! no vaccines needed! tell. the govs of the world to shove the BS up there asses with a dash of SPEED!!!
@@seanthompson258 Half my work and half my family had Covid. It was like a mild hangover for 3 days for me. With my kids it was like a slight cold. Whoopity shit... all this b.s. over a 1% death rate per case. In 2018 the flu had a 10% death rate per case. 1.5 million people die world wide from Tuberculosis and no one ever shut down commerce over it. It's a bout control and money.
At the end it would be nice to see a injury list cuz wow! With some of these crashes you would think there has to be some serious injuries hell even deaths! Great video! 👍👍
Now I know why Volvo's are so popular in Banger racing, they just keep on going lol I Love the way they push other cars as battering rams to minimise damage to their own cars lol Berserk!
People are also seriously injured or killed during FIA regulation races as well so its safe to say racing in general is dangerous i for one think this looks fun.
people get hurt or die just by having a dog and people think that is the cutest thing in the world. the number of deaths by domestic dogs is above any sport accident in the world.
You're right but it's not the driver's fault it's all the laws rules and regulations they make you take so much performance parts off the car that the car doesn't go fast anymore I know this because I used to do demolition derby all the time until the rules got so extensive that it's just no point in doing it anymore and on top of all the parts they take off the car they wet the track so you get no traction
Not quite his head. His helmet must have been loose and flung off when he stuck the other car. Happens to motorcyclists a lot when they either don't tighten their straps well enough or forget to do them up.
Man I really wish we had this in the states. Here if you just spin someone out you can get disqualified. It really sucks. The best part of racing is the crashes. It's a real bummer when you go to the races for 5 hours or so and all you see is someone spin out. Real waste of money. I really got to take a vacation out there just to go to one of these.
Man oval track racing isn't about the wrecks. I drive asphalt super late models these are 75k dollar racecars not demo derby toys just like all the other oval racing classes at your local tracks dirt and asphalt pure stocks V8 ones cost anywhere from 5k to 20 k to build and prices go up from there. So oval racing isn't all about the wrecks
So Barry, how did you get your fractured skull? My wonderful wife loaned me her hew car, I told her that I was going to the races. I have a warranty issue, engine no longer works.
So can someone in the known explain the point/ rules or whatever. In Aussie demo derbies, the goal is to be last car moving. So why run into a car that is obviously already dead? Is it biggest hit of the night? Is it just for lolz?
Thumbs up means you're ok. Waving hands back and forth means you have 2 broken legs that are pressed down under the dashboard. If they don't cut you out fast enough to get the blood flowing again, you lose your legs.
I don't understand this can someone please help is this the UK version of a demolition derby what is the point and or how do you know who wins is it the last car moving that wins and you do your best to take out all the other vehicles first. ?????
First one to pass the chequered flag wins. Almost everything is allowed to stop others from racing. Last race of the day is a demolition derby so last one running wins.
Depends if you do it for racing or demolition if you’re a racer then avoiding the obstacles and crash attempts and is your a demolisher then ruining everyone’s day
Normally Demo derby you can only go in reverse, no one usually go's head on into the other car, I wonder how many drivers injured feet or ankles, I mean these hits are really hard at top speed no less, it's incredible actually my neck is hurting just watching this.
@@AutorodeoNederland and after some time, people starts having internal bleeding and brain damages and so on. And yes, i drive car race myself. Look at 4.30. Driver knocked "dead". But otherwise, great entertaining video.
@Lil' Wayne's guitar teacher i have raced for 15 years myself, rallycross and rally. I have had accidents an rolls, so i know what it is to crash and also how dangerous it can be. The strong safe rules in theese sports are a totally different world from the crazy drivers in this video. Helmet or not, you can suffer from internal damages later on.
Knut Endre Ringhagen cars are designed to take the hits and protect the drivers in this. For non contact cars crash safety isn’t as big of a priority, hence why when things go wrong in rallying etc, the injuries are often more serious. Of course there are broken bones etc and there have been some very rare circumstances where a driver is seriously injured or worse (the majority of the very small number of deaths have happened when the driver is out of their car) but injuries are much much rarer than you would imagine
Awesome vid I love to see big crashes! One question tho, how are the drivers about this coronavirus and not being able to race? Must be tough :/ stay safe!
