I been trying to catch a stripper in Santa nella for 2 weeks now noo luck fishing in the urly mornings I see other guys pulling out fish but not me lol I been trying all tries of lures and bate….

@@getbentvideos661theres a spot on santa nella, on mccabe rd ypu drive down that road coming from santanella its the second aqueduct connected to the san luis reservoir. You park there and walk down like 15 minutes you can fish right there off the aqueduct where you park. But if you keep walking you can reach the gates that open and close and theres 50lb striper being pulled out every other day it seems like. Everytime i go someone has a story of how they where fighting a fish or saw someone fight a fish for 30 mins+.

@@getbentvideos661theres not just stripped bass there either, you can catch carp, catfish, massive bluegill, mud minnows, shad, ive caught a snake and a duck right there.

I switched the 6 lb leader because I felt like the thicker line wasn't getting bit as much from the pressure and I have since probably tripled my amount of catching yes you might break off if you're not careful but if you know how to work your drag you'll be all right

This was a medium-sized Rod a 3000 Series reel and 8 lb mono so I'm sure you would do just fine with all that gear
