This is six years after the fact. By far the best fishing content I've seen. The filmmaking is on point as well as the narration. The gem though is y'alls true passion for the craft. Just found your channel today 6/21/20. Subscribed and have been binging for the last 12 hrs. Amazing early work. Seem to have polished it since. Amazing content and a very relaxing watch. Carl and Alex Fishing We fish for salmon (chums, pink, silver, red, and king) dolly (char), rainbow trout, grayling, halibut, and pike. Pike are considered a trash fish in much of Alaska, so a lot of the pike fishing is really under utilized. I had a pike fishing trip where I caught 83 pike in one day. Blew my mind. Haven't been back since I started filming, so I am anxious to bring the 'ole camera next time I visit the family.

Of course the minute I pull out my video camera I'll probably get skunked. Lol. Not all of us can catch fish the size of boats and get it on film. Until someone tries to film and fish it's hard to appreciate how awesome that sturgeon was.

I can't imagine seeing such a huge sturgeon leap out of the water - amazing. The area is absolutely gorgeous and the guides obviously know what they are doing and seem like genuinely nice people.
