I'm one of those guys too busy to comment. I'm impressed with your sincere, authentic and enthused poker journey you've taken. Being older, I don't know how you manage the variance and risk. I play 1-3 at the Lodge and hate it when I lose my $300 buy-in. Fun to watch you. I'm guessing lots of folks in a similar boat as me who enjoy watching your journey.
For all the haters…jealousy is not a great way to go through life. For Lex, know that there are many rec poker players that watch your videos to learn how to play better. Listening to your thought process is so valuable…I think I speak for many when I say thanks…we appreciate what you do.
Long time viewer who never posts on these sorts of videos. Just wanted to congratulate you on an amazing win. Couldn't have happened to a better guy. Keep posting these amazing videos. Wishing you all the best.
really like your work. it’s straight forward with the narratives, your voice is effective and most of all, you aren’t trying to sell anything; these are all big draws. And the Rogue content is noice... Glad buddy told those two sh**s what they can do...eff those guys
Happy to see the support at the table and by the Casino for your craft. Your videos help a lot of us out and don't effect the card being played whatsoever so why hate on you. Keep up the great work Lex 👍🙏.
I enjoy your vlog more than most. You, Brad Owen and Rampage are my favorite (and almost exclusive) players I follow. Each for different reasons. Keep up the good work.
Gotta leave a comment because I am one of those who never do but watch faithfully. Love the vlogs. Congratulations on the huge win. I wish more people hit that like button for you. It's so easy to do!
Lex: You have a gift for gab. Your ability to announce your hands is a talent that only a few people have. It's a talent that viewers appreciate. It's entertaining and frankly has taught me a lot about how gutsy you have to be to play in those big games that you are doing. Keep it up. Hope you continue to have good cards. Winning is a lot more entertaining.
Nice session against the high limit pros/whales. Ride that confidence wave until it breaks on the shore. Also, thanks for showing Rogue! He's super cute. Best part of my day is seeing my dog when I wake up and come home. Animals are magical.
Another excellent video and I am glad management backed you up. Hard to blame anyone for being afraid of getting cheated at poker after the scandals of the past few years though.
Haters gonna hate!!! Your vlog is one of the realest out bc yeah u do make mistakes but who doesn’t, and it’s not a mistake if u learn from it , it’s a lesson ! to make the same ones ! Ty for showing the ups and downs bc it’s really like that when u do this everyday
Hey Lex, In case you read this, I am one of those people who watches your content and never comments. I work 7 days a week, play poker 5 days a week, and have two dogs. Love your content, love your gameplay, love your doggo. Keep it up man!
I will have to support the Hard Rock in Florida for having your back. Can't believe EURO poker players would complain about someone doing a VLOG....WTH! Are they living under a rock. Keep up the good work. Much love for what you do!
Couldn’t disagree more on buying in small for “multiple bullets” versus buying in big. You end up in a situation for a massive double up while max stacked with the nuts and you net 5k….. or common sense, if you can afford to lose say (4 bullets anyway) you get in that same situation with 20k and you net 20k. Being a bigger stack is literally ALWAYS an advantage. For pressure, or max value.
Incorrect. Being deep stacked is only an advantage when other stacks are just as deep as you in a cash game. In a tournament, being deeper is always better, but in cash games its alot easier to realize your equity when you're short stacked relative to the other players. For example, if you have a hand like JJ and you only start the hand with 50 bbs, you can comfortably get your stack in preflop regardless of the action most of the time. However, when you have 150 BBs, you have to tread way more carefully as the hands that will get it in against you are much stronger. This applies to postflop as well people will have a harder time bluffing you off of hands like top pair and you can almost always stack off postflop with your strong draws by jamming your stack in. When you're playing a bigger game than normal and you don't have the bankroll to support multiple full buy ins it makes sense to short stack the game. The deeper stacks will actually be disadvantaged in this situation since they will have to be wary of each other when you go all-in. In fact, if the whales at the table don't buy in deep, there is no advantage to buying in deep whatsoever unless you are the best player at the table and you have position on the other pros at the table. Honestly its funny how confidently wrong you are lol
Rogue, Yes! Great Vid Lex. Funny they wanted you out for filming.. I'd bet it was because you were not punting. Appreciate the content, and authenticity.. as you note, positive commenters less motivated than the haters.. We are here.. watching and appreciating.. I for one will always comment when Rogue makes an appearance :)
Wow! Great vlog. Its nice to see your progression. Working your way from the miners to the majors. From the Casino to the Whales at the table backing you. Nice boost of confidence. Slowly but surely. Peace!
Lexo, you rock man!!! F the negatives, man! Really!!! Be you!!! I always go with this saying throughout my life, “if you have nothing good to say, don’t say it!!!”
Congrats Lex. Met last time I was in that area but you were playing above my stakes plus like the crazy action at the PLO games there. When I’m out there again I might have to take a shot to try to get some of those Lex-O dollars
That's a hype win Lex!!! Happy to see it bud. You looked very confident playing, and I know you feel great now. Hope you stay on a heater for a long time. #Fire
I love watching your videos at work since I’m a programmer and it tends to get boring. Your videos always help and I do g always have time to comment but please don’t stop making them. You are in my top 5 poker videos that I watch including Brad Owen and Mariano. Keep it up!
Great job Lex!!! Keep 'em coming! You know, Rampage just got ejected from Hard Rock Tampa for filming. Shame as a "Company" rules vary so widely - however, very happy to see The Floor backed you so staunchly! Kind of obvious some weird players had such an odd stance about filming. I wonder why - filming brings the games to us who appreciate you guys who are ranging out into the realm of big time Poker.
I enjoy your videos and more than that I think you are a source of inspiration for a lot of players out there who want to take poker seriously! As a poker pro I like the aspect of you analyzing your hand and the thinking processes behind it! Keep up the good job bro! Hope to meet you one day! 👍🏽
Thank you for responding to my last comment. Please keep up the vlogs, haters are usually A-holes that can't stand to see someone succeed. My daughter ran into a hater of her at home pastry business, turns out he was never a customer nor tried her products, he said and I quote "I posted negative crap because nobody should be this successful". she has had thousands of positive reviews and was upset about this person 1in 3,000. Ignore the haters.
Hey lex, my name is Louis I watch your poker vlog video all the time sometimes my wife yells at me cuz I'm always watching them I've been looking to start a channel but I just really haven't had all the time you know with work and spending time with my family..I really appreciate what you do and to take time to bring us these containt I know it not cheap to make these video's...I really learned a lot from watching you play i try to save Some of money to play but it hard when your the only one working and bills come every 1st of the month ..well I just wanted to wish you nothing but the best and happiness thanks lex
I was down 1100 last nite and fought 10 hours to only lose 80$ , those are the days that separate us from the regs!! Like u said it’s easy when u flop it but when u gotta fight the bad beats and maybe a few mistakes that’s what makes the grind even better
Congrats on the great session! Good job staying disciplined even when you were up huge (I usually donk off after building a stack, ha). Take care and let the run good continue!
Moving up in the world! Pretty soon you'll be ready for the huge Hustler live stream games. Just watch out for this one player if you try... she's capable of making sick jack high hero calls.
