I think people think ur bluffing a lot. Guys seemed like they were calling you light all night. But I’ve also heard you be called a tight player. Idk, just an observation.
On the 9c8c hand, you obviously know him better than me, but I think his 4-bet range preflop is going to do more checking on the river than value betting unless he has a Q. Is he ever trying to get value with AA or KK? Is he bluffing with AK, perhaps. He still has to consider you have a ton of Queens in your range, unless you never trap. I've made this same kind of call or folded and saw the hand and I wasn't good (80%+ of the time). What's he 4-betting, and betting the river with that has some value beats you (JJ?) or is a pure bluff. AK? How many combos of bluffs should he have? Not many, I don't think.
The most shocking thing about this video is that people with this kind of money eat at Jersey Mike's! In all seriousness though, great video Lex. Sorry it didn't go your way, but you had some great plays and it'll turn around.
Lex, I have been following you a lot and often admire your play, BUT I must say, the raise on the river does not have much value in my opinion based on how the hand unfolded! When you do so, If u get checked raised u r suppose to fold(If you get bluffed ch r so be it..u beat nothing after that chk r shove). Personally I'd rather miss a little bit of value on the river with a paired board rather then have to decide whether to call or not. Thanks for the vlog btw, its great!!
You not cut out for this big game you have been making stupid mistakes specially w the straight against the full house 🐒🙈🙉🙊why do y raise 🐵🐵🐵🙈🙈🙈🙉🙉🙉go back to smaller stakes n get your confidence back it seems like you have a big bankroll but they way you have been playing it won’t last … and wtf w the 82 hand what y trying to prove 🙈🙈🙈🙈
Lex, I appreciate your honesty & sharing your journey to high stakes. Not an easy thing to put yourself out there like you are. You have it in you. Fook the Haters. Chase your goals as you always have! Good luck my man.
You underestimate Taras. He’s a great player. Your arrogance cost you tens of thousands. You played horribly and say I “ran bad” again. Coolered etc. you need to face the facts that you suck. You don’t belong with the big boys. Now go make another video about you Audi
Feel like the call against Taras is a punt, like QQ will definitely be looking to check turn a lot but besides that, what are the bluffs? Feel like the board smashed your range so hard, he’s going to give up A LOT, hard to think of bluffs other than AKo with As, but that would want to barrel turn too…
Playing 2 times with "The Big Boys" costed you around or over $ 100K. I would look at that that as a big warningsign. It takes a f long time to grind those 2 sessions back on 2/5 and 5/10. And this is only because you wanted 'to prove' that you are capable to play with "The Big Boys", so it is only driven by EGO. There is nothing wrong with playing smaller games like 2/5 and 5/10 where you have somewhat of an edge and the pressure to deal with when you run bad is much easier to deal with. Make smart decisions. 👍👍👍👍
I think the KQ hand is an easy one to assess even without seeing the hands. Raising to $13K, who is calling? Maybe A9, otherwise everyone else is folding and all in is definitely beating you!
Lex, I have no idea how much you make from your YT - channel but I have a feeling you are playing games that are waaay above your bankroll. You bought in for 20k right? That means that your bankroll should be at least, at least, 20x that amount. (Some say the magic number is 50x) So if your bankroll is 500k+, go ahead, try your luck with the the big boys. If it's not 500k, maybe you should stick to the stakes your are used to. Yeah, I know, you always say that you are competitive and wanna play against the best. Always push yourself. Bla bla. Dude, that's the gambling devil speaking. You have a good thing going at the Hard rock. You are crushing. Don't fu*k that up becuz you wanna "prove yourself". In a year or two, when you have worked on your game and have a solid bankroll you can go try your luck again. Until then, don't rock the boat. From Sweden with love
You must slow down.....cant play this big games yet, youre bank roll is not so big like the other players....calm and start again...play lower stakes....
That bluff with 82 was masterful. Leaving yourself less then a min click behind makes it look that much stronger and as if you were potentially gonna check raise the turn. I can understand why mariano landed on fold.
Only two hands were bad plays IMO. The bet/call you made with a straight on a paired board and not folding 9/8 clubs to a three bet preflop out of position. Just my opinion.
