thank you teppo you have solved my problem i have been having how to light up my background when shooting, good separation and tried it out and working great just done the same as you stuck on the ground behind my chair hiding in the background. i hope you and family are good keep up the great work
I actually like the dark look. The balanced lighting looks a bit plain in my opinion. But I guess that's where the other office elements come in (plants, picture frames, wood panel, etc). Side note, I enjoyed not having background music on this video. It made it feel more authentic, less RU-vidr-y!
Incredible! This is totally something that I forget about more times than I'd like to admit... Gotta try putting the light on the ground and shining up🔥
This is a great tip, Teppo, thank you. I only have one question: How do you figure out the colour temperature? Do you have a hack for that? I currently use a big ringlight from Nanlite (Halo 18) which doesn't even show the exact temperature so I always try to set the light according to my best guess at the given moment. Is there any better way?
Thanks for the quick tip Teppo! Will try to implement this in my upcoming videos. I still have a lot to learn regarding lighting in general, therefore this was a great start :)
Bold title. I wouldn't call it a mistake. It's preferential, and honestly I think that blasting light on that background makes it more distracting. Adding dim accent lights would do more instead of one bright light source.
@@TeppoHaapoja Hello! I follow you together with your brother Matti and McKinnon, but lately more you. I am from Romania. I've also made some videos... lately I've made more shorts, but I'd like to make more videos. Could you please give me some advice how to switch from shorts to normal videos? Thank you! :)
So in your first RU-vid video you were Matti! 😆 Sorry for this stupid joke I think you get it all the time. >< To be a little bit more supportive, Thank you for this video. It can help a lot for most of us :)
