If it likes the mans hand it shall never leave said hand, I hope he knows how to live his life as if he's an amputee for a few weeks. at least he gets a cute moth on his hand to admire :3
In Australia we are still trying to figure out what fear is I mean 90% of what we consider to living plushies every other country seems to think are horrors beyond comprehension
@@sam6334 alot of the time whenever the barber is finished with the persons haircut, they will ask if they like it, and even if it isnt all that good looking the person will still say they like it.
CocoThePitbull Chihuahua Usually people don’t want to make the barber feel bad and disrespect his work so no one tells the barber that they don’t like the haircut unless you are a savage or something.
@@sam6334 its usually not easy to tell your barber that you didnt like your haircut. Its like telling your mom that her food tastes like shit. But this guy has shown to be very tough holding that abomination, and would therefore be tough enough to tell his barber he didnt like the haircut.
In Australia, it's different for the people there as they grew up there so it's something their used to and have been educated about. Assuming your from north America it would be the same for an Aussie going over in summer and saying it's cold because it's just not what their used to and your not used to the big bugs they have
I find it insane that he’s able to tug and feel the Moth’s wings without it flying away. It’s so chill with him touching him unlike every other flying insect in the world.
@@motrebbiacastrio8644 The moth doesn't trust the guy but it's not stupid either. Moths are bad at escaping threats compared to other insects (especially the large ones), and many moth species adapted to not try escaping at all, because flying or moving around would reveal them to predators. They'll instead stay still and wait for the threats to go away, relying on their camouflage to prevent detection. You can even see in the video how the moth just tries to get stable footing on the guy's hand and as soon as it does it stops moving completely. It's not that it trusts him, it's just that it instinctively knows that the best way to survive an encounter with a creature 10000 times it's size is to stay still and let it's camouflage protect it. (It likely isn't even aware that the thing it's standing on is still part of the massive creature that it's trying to evade) This isn't just a thing with big moths either, many smaller species of moths will also also act like this when threatened.
Was it just me or did anyone else start laughing when the moth was ““punching”” the air? Moth: I am gonna punch you *moth starts punching air* The air: this moth has anger issues Moth still punching air*
this. I've been raising small praying mantids, but I saw an adult female Chinese mantis the other day... and I just... couldn't... she was so big... true fear...
Omg im totally the same way!!! I saw the praying mantis that looks like a flower... and I'm like, alright I think I could do that! In reality I would be screaming and flailing my arms everywhere making sure it's not going to get in my hair lollllll
That moth is really huge! 😮 It looked like it was having trouble getting upright again, but it seemed thankful for your helping hand. Thank you for saving it. :)
Dont let our wildlife fear you. Follow your passion! Its actually really great and safe here. this type of stuff only represents the more isolated locations.
Him: **picks up handles a Mothra sized moth** Me when I see a small moth in my room flying around the lamp: **slams the covers over head like a five year old as if it was the boogeyman**
Had a similar experience with a way smaller moth in usa, it hung out on my arm after I picked it up. Had a few beers and played some videogames, little guy was still hanging out on my arm the whole time. Then I let him outside.
@@harveylul-_-8445 yeah man the biggest flying insects where i live are hornets, though moths cant harm you but still. I geuss if you are from australia you are used to freaky big or dangerous animals.
The duality of moths in hollow knight: On the one hand you have "aww, cute moth seer grandma, she gives me rewards!" And then you have "HOLY FUCKING SHIT HOW MANY LASERS AND SWORDS DOES THIS GOD HAVE AHHHHHH THE MOTH HAS LITERALLY BECOME THE SUN"
@@galaxyofreesesking2124 some moths are friendlier in the sense that they either take to being held better or like being on humans more as opposed to just flying away after chilling on your hand for a couple seconds.
@@karldoesstuffYT your soliloquy of a response was out of place to say the least. I think most people would understand what he could've meant by "friendly"😂
Wait, reading the comments I realize white people don't have palomas of that size XD In Mexico we have them! There are ones even bigger, and are so cute :'3
