BIGGEST OUTDOOR TRENDS in 2023! 

Animals, farm or otherwise, should not be a trend. How sad is that? What happens when the trend is over?

I don’t think it’s a “trend” for city folk to have or own farm animals but rather many are recognizing there’s value in raising them considering what’s going on in our nation, and perhaps all over the world. :(

I just want to point out that having farm animals it’s not a trend people. You have to care for this animals for as long as they live, what happens when it’s not a trend anymore ?

There are reasons for rules for farm animals. Not only health reasons but they attract other animals i.e. chickens attract coyotes in outlying areas which is not a good trend. Love the outdoor furniture suggestions. ❤

Living in Mobile Alabama and when it’s hot and humid a game changer for us is having tower fans hidden behind potted plants to get the air moving. 😅 it enables us to sit outside especially in the evening. 😊

What Id like to see… I would like to see you take a blank patio space and start with the outdoor area rug and build it step by step with all the links to buy each piece using realistic outdoor pieces that can sustain the outdoor elements and heat. Personally I have a desert home that gets a lot of sun, wind and sand so I look at these spaces with white cushions and know I could never do that. Also, I don’t want to spend a lot on each piece because the sun will destroy it. Pottery Barn, West Elm, etc is too expensive for desert patio furniture. We get up to 120 degrees in the summer.😊 Thank you for your tips and channel❤❤

I have only lived in the Phoenix area for 1 1/2 years, but this is the time of the year that we go back inside until October, due to the heat! We still have cool enough days here & there, but next month it will be a ghost town around here. No gardening, bbqs, etc. Outdoor markets mostly shut down for the Summer months, etc.

This gives me alot of great ideas. Who doesn't want to take a luxurious vacation and bring some of it in your own surroundings.

My one suggestion to you if you are going to work with a sponsor is to stay in your lane of expertise. I found myself fast forwarding through your skin care sponsorship video, as I do not look to you for skin care tips. I am not sure that strategy enhances your credibility to your viewers. Overall, your content is great. Keep it up!

I have 25 bars of goat soap in my bathroom I know that’s ridiculous but I have such dry skin and allergies and the beekman soap is worth it

Beautiful examples of mostly contemporary/ modern. But, most of us don't have the backdrop of a gorgeous home, patio, or pool area to work with. It's all fun to look at though. A girl can dream!

JUST BE AWARE: if you want something, there might be a 🧱 weight limit or wind 🌬️ sheer factor on outdoor choices. Balconies & rooftops have very defined weight limits, for sculpture, pots, water… water is shockingly heavy. You can get a ton of weight VERY quickly in a square of contained water. Any pergola, furniture, sun sail or parasol is more likely to catch wind as you gain elevation, or might be sucked off a rooftop or balcony between buildings. Secure everything & be sure you clarity on the architecture or contracted engineering limits from the landlord, condo board, or your building plans.

Who new I would end up shopping for goat soap while looking for outdoor ideas 😅

That is so true what your speaking about the animals. I have 30 chickens. I do live out in the country so I can. I also use goat milk soap every day for my face. If cleans my pores and make you feel refreshed. The goat milk lotions are good also. Especially for scars. They make them fade a lot. They don’t completely disappear but they so fade. Hi Valentina, I'm fairly new to your channels.I'm enjoying your content. Today I'm not having the best day..I had to go back to the hard collor for my cranial cervical instability and the ablations in my lumbar and sacro are loosing the effectiveness....your video cheered me up and helped my mind get out of the woe is me hole i fell into. I'm in Australia so winter is approaching. I'm in Victoria and we have been having very vatied weather somewhat unseasonal. it was a beautiful day yesterday but today its raingin hard and the temp dropped. I've recently moved to a new home which is about 3-4 times bigger than my previous home. I have been trying to furnish it and to decorate it. I think it is going well (except I did not pack/unpack myself due to my health issues...so I have no idea where half my things are1 lol). We are in a rural estate so everyone is on small acerage. We are in the original house on the estate before it was subdiveded. I am so lucky that out every window of my home it looks like a park with green lawns and a plethera of trees...some are dropping leaves now and it is beautful. I also am lucky enough to have bay views...I am ultimately blessed to be in this space There is so much to do and your channel keeps me inspired to make all my new space a place to want to be. I have been more confident in doing what will make me happy in my space and my family comforable (though I think I am driving them a little crazy as I wiz around in my wheelchair swapping out the decor.It makes me very happy). I've also bwcome quite good with the spray paint and using my colour palette to bring a cohesive look to my space. My youngest daughter (just turned 12) is an avid artist and has been doing some wonderful abstract in her artwork. I've purchased her some framed canvases and she is going to do some pieces for our home. Its very exciting! My eldest daughter (13) has become fasinated by candles and scents and has been mixing up a treat for us in the oil diffusers . She has also been lighting the candles each night and its lent a special vibe to our family evenings.

Exotic outdoor style....that's always been my style, even though I live in Central CA...makes me feel like I'm on vacay all year long.

Colorless outdoors now? No flowers? I can’t find beige, grey and black flowers. Should I get rid of my beautiful pomegranate tree that is full of bright red flowers? The cactus that have purple and yellow flowers blooming? (Sarcasm is my love language!) Just say’n. A colorless outdoors is not natural. My orange and white striped cushions on my lounge chairs next to the pool are magic! Beige would look so boring. God didn’t get the trend list for SPRING? I didn’t notice one colorful flower in any of the outdoor pictures you showed.🤷🏻‍♀️ I know this is totally your style but I enjoy your videos and glean from them anyway.

Did you go to High Point? I’ve heard the upcoming color we’ll see a lot of is burgundy and natural earthy reds. I was somewhat happy to hear that as I accent with a soft clay almost pink & green tone and my exterior screened in furniture pillows are in a light clay.

We spend the majority of our time living outdoors in our outdoor space at my home here in Australia 🇦🇺, I’ve decorated it from the inside to outside, most things I have inside matches what I have in our under covered outdoor space, living in a country that has more summer months than winter, we spend a lot of time outside, we have two separate areas outside, one is alfresco that connects to our backyard and the other is all under covered around two sides of our home, I call it a his and hers area Lol 😂, his side is usually where the men gather and talk mens stuff around our grill/BBQ Weber and the other area has an outdoor lounge that us ladies can sit in comfort and talk girlie stuff Lol 😂 until the men bring the steaks around from the BBQ, even though it’s coming into winter here, we still utilise our outdoor areas, we cook on our grill all year round, I guess it’s why they call where I Live “The Sunshine State” of Australia 🇦🇺 plus we’re not that far from the Ocean yet far enough away Not to get the salt air on my windows and our vehicles 🚗, Your design ideas have helped me immensely Valentina on making my house a home that we utilise all spaces of it and continue to upgrade and improve it with maintaining it all the time in a way that when hubby retires it’s everything we want and need to sit back and Enjoy the fruits of our labor over the years and have a home base for when we start to travel again. What does your backyard look like?

Farm animals are not trendy. They are a responsibility and need to ethically handled and cared for. Farmhouse is a trend if you want to go that route but buy from companies that handle their animals ethically. That will tell you whether they will provide you with products worthy of your skin etc. we are also animals. Thanks

For the love of God, stop apologizing for telling people to take down tacky signs. You are being honest not rude. If they are so attached to their damn signs, they can ignore your advice silently. If they are poop talking you because their feelings are hurt, THEY are being rude. Not you. Stop to apology parade!!!

You telling people animals are a trend is so wrong! im totally disapointed. Having Animals it has to be 100% a responsable mature desicion to last for the lifetime of the animal & based on the wellbeing of the animals. NEVER A TREND!

I really dislike the term exoticism. It implies that the Western world is the norm and things outside of that are “exotic” or “unusual”. But the other way around, outside of the Western world things from say the US aren’t exotic to those ppl, cause even there the Western world is still the norm. Let’s stop saying “exotic” cause it confirms Western normativity.
