Redfin eat marron, fisheries recommend not throwing them back into the water, it isnt illegal to do so, throw them back, as some people assume. They are considered a pest, a tasty one, but the marron population is more important than redfin, them and poachers are the biggest threat to marron

@@Quinctili that's what ppl say but it's just not true. You will never get rid of reddies so why not manage them like other fish . If ya put the big ones back you won't get the problem of rat redfin all the same size.

@@watchingyoutoo7955 I pointed out it is illegal, no more than that. Redfin DO eat our endangered native Western Pygmy Perch (commonly called minnows) other native fish, Gilgies and Marron. Laws are made by the majority for a reason, the majority are not collectively stupid.
