Possible the Biggest Reservoirs in Kottonera !!
Together with Steven Mallia, we are today exploring what is behind the doors of these 2 enormous water reservoirs, on either side of the St. Helen's Gate in Bormla (Cospicua).
Built somewhere around the mid 19th Century , lie these Historical water reservoirs. One of them was severely damaged and the other one still intact. Also, some exceptional drone shots and beautiful aerial Views of the Santa Margherita Lines.

That first reservoir is so magnificent & architecturally beautiful that it could be mistaken for a CATHEDRAL 📐 🖋 ⚙ ⛪. In comparison with the "repaired" second one, it shows how "dull" concrete is. Great Job! very informative and interesting.. Unfortunately, a number of Knights period reservoirs were destroyed in Naxxar during the past 20 years in the area surrounding the Old Mill
