I walked from Malta Airport to Valletta and this is what happened 

When I was 15 (back in 1975), my friends and I walked from Birzebugia to Mellieha. We packed a lunch and spent the day just hiking and enjoying the day. Malta was very different then, not as crowded or as many cars. Good memories.

I wish there are more positive people like Alex in this world

That part of Floriana is one of my favorites. Floriana is ignored s lot but it is quiet, full of parks, and 5 mins walk to Valletta!

When I was living in Malta, I walked all over but not to Valletta. However, you are really brave in this day and age with all the traffic.

Please do a video about Marsa. Marsa is a Grand harbour town and one of the oldest ports in Malta dating back to the Romans, hence it has a lot of history. Marsa has lots of potential but has for many years been forsaken and left in a desolate state. Marsa is also a town with one of the largest foreign population in Malta, mostly immigrants from Africa.

I have walked to and from more than 40 international airports around the world. And I was going to walk from Malta Airport to Sliema, just yesterday. I had to postpone it due to illness unfortunately. But I will walk to the airport next Saturday, when I fly out of Malta. So thank you for showing us that it can easily be done. And thank you for all your videos. I have been binge watching them before coming here and found them most inspiring.

In Easter time there is an official walk you can do at night where the roads will be closed off, it's from Mellieha to Isla, you pay around €10 for charity and you get certificate when you finish. It will be nice to film it I guess 😊

It was in the sixties I went with my brother and his friends to a movie in Valletta. When we came out we found out that the last bus to Sliema had just left so they decided that they were going to walk it. I had to make two steps to their one, I was totally exhausted by the time we reached the Savoy area. 😢

I have lived in malta my entire life. Something i noticed, at least in my hometown, is there are cigarettes everywhere. One time i counted how many there were on my side of the street. There were 300.

I once walked from santa lucia to marsaskala when I was finished from my o level exam of english. tbh with you I enjoyed walking there would do it again if I have the chance

A year ago I was walking from the airport to the hotel in Sant Paul's Bay. It was really hard😅 and I had to take the bus towards the end.

While I was living in Malta, because the buses stopped, during the night, I walked from Valletta to birkirkara, at midnight & there was no one around. I went for a job interview at a restaurant & it was a seminar. It was scary.

when i was 11 i lost my bus fare so i had to walk from Valletta to Brizebbugia this was in 1971 in the summer i have be back many time and i would say a lot has changs and i do not think if i was 11 again i would be safe walking it again.

Well much as I love Malta how dirty and rubbish on the roadside tourists don’t see this. My daughter lived in Malta for 12 years so we saw nice and not so nice places, no way would I ‘drive’ in Malta, Maltese aren’t the most patient of drivers.
