I think pro football focus has DJ Reed as the number 8 corner in all of the NFL and Carter is 14 or 15. But the difference is that, Carter would be the number two nickel corner in the entire NFL at that rank. Reed is the 8th outside corner. (Also the fact that one is younger and the other one would demand a much higher payday, as you said)

Getting the most talent in proportion to what you pay is the ONE and ONLY way to win a superbowl. I think we'll really learn about Izzy's status when they have inter-team scrimmages and can have more contact. Aside from the pass protection issue, he really needs to increase his physicality. Before Cohen he was the smallest RB on the roster but he's not a small back. You're 215lbs, put your head down and truck somebody and show you're not just this scat back that constantly wants to break everything outside. Everything about the draft and FA has shown that physicality is what we're looking for on offense, he needs to show he can do that.

The haters need to relax, they probably aren’t fun at parties lol. I love football so I’ll soak up any news and clips I can. You bring up some great points. I’m excited to see how Gipson and Corley are used and I’m excited to see if Braelon Allen can be the perfect compliment to breece. A nice breece lighting and Braelon thunder duo would be dope. I also agree on your corner take. I think we may be able to grow stiggers into a starter, we seem to know how to develop guys well. I think we resign Carter and try to develop someone for reeds spot

No; he’s not cooked. That phrase suggests that he was good in the first place He has ALWAYS been absolute garbage. He only put up semi-decent stats from 2020-22 because his stats were propped up by being the #2 option for the league MVP for 2 years and the #1 option a year later. He always has and always will be a bum by high-snap NFL standards
