I came to check him out because I had listened to a couple of Jaguar's interviews about Diddy, and I saw an article about Gene's response to Jag, and was hooked from there. I've been binge watching! What’s crazy is that I actually read about this back in 2009 online... this is old news but new to those who never heard it... but your right. No one will do time for it. Isn’t that interesting, the Feds are basically telling you he did it, there’s no statue of limitation on Murder, and that man is walking around free enjoying life while Biggie is 6 feet deep... that hit came from departments that go over the polices heads. Thats why I dont believe Puff was the intended target. I believe it was Big all along, and Puff set that up as a sacrifice, because he knew they had plans to get someone and made sure it wasn't him. Gene has said himself, why did Big have to come to Cali to do what he could have done in NY? Why wasn't Diddy providing more protection? Why would he push his friend to attend a party he didn't want to attend, and wasn't really well enough to attend. Big's legs needed to have time to heal. Diddy was overconfident about his own safety that night, and there is a reason for that! He knew he let Biggie be the hit so that they could say they avenged Pac's death, in order to save himself.
He still wouldn't have predicted that Kenny was going to run the lights. Gene made that happen by screaming on him. Even if Puff knew they were coming at the lights, it would've been him screaming on Kenny and not Gene. That would've made Puff look mad suspect, which is why I think Gene got so tore up about it. Had Kenny not ran those lights, Big might've still been here today.

I'm with you and not sure you think what I think, but I think the hit was for Big, and Diddy set it up as a sacrifice to save himself, as well as he knew he was going to lose Big once he completed his album for him. He knew they wanted revenge for Pac's death, and he wanted to make certain it wasn't him. That's why Diddy was acting out of character, called off Big's London trip, pushed him to go to a party he had no interest in, and wouldn't provide adequate security. When Gene talks about how out of character Diddy was that day, it all made sense to me. I also think he had Gene stand by Big all night to make it look to other people like he was Big's security, and he could later let Gene take the heat for not protecting Big. It may all sound like a huge conspiracy, but people did conspire to kill this man, and I have no doubt Diddy was in on it. He knew someone had to go, and he made certain it wasn't him. Diddy didn't even care that Big was in no condition to be out partying and walking that far, and he sure couldn't run. That's no friend! Diddy is an evil man, and he may not pay on earth, but he will have to answer one day!
Just finished all 6 eps of the dossier (doss-see-A haha), and Gene you should definitely feel vindicated. Although we believed you all along. After seeing every big/pac doc I didn't have high hopes for the podcast but I was pleasantly surprised bc there was a lot of new info provided, all of which supports what Gene has been saying all along. One thing I am still unclear about is whether the person in the photo (blue suit, bowtie, peanut head) is actually Amir Muhammad or just someone who looks like him. And why did they blur his face? Why would they be protecting him? And lastly why couldn't/can't the fbi obtain that photo? Clearly that's BIGs killer. Anyway, congrats Gene - keep doing what you do. Fuck Reggie Wright and all those Bum First dudes.
