Panditji ended the concert with such a powerful rendition of Govinda damodar that many of those in attendance had tears in their eyes out of experiencing the sheer joy of his music.

Similar to Elysium in Greek mythology, salvation would be the ultimate goal, being absorbed into the one universal consciousness and thus one's soul may rest in peace

So many people are so overwhelmed by Bandish Bandits version. So many are here because of the series. I don’t know if Bandish Bandits did good by introducing classical to millennials or did bad by reducing the heavenly sur of classical to a petty web series
They did good. Every artform needs to adapt so it can reach and bring awareness to more listeners and not be stuck in a time capsule. How else will more enthusiasts be enthused to discover, train and eventually carry forward the wonderful tradition of music. Bandish Bandits is the gateway that got many people in so they can discover and go deeper into hindustani classical music. The fact that they are listening to Pt Jasraj and likes is proof that this tribe will grow and get deeper.

@@shakespeareinlove82 exactly people are exploring such wonderful singing......1st heard this track 2 years back and became Pandit jis fan and started worshipping him....and after that heard this track akmost many times but the feeling is like the first time ...... When I saw these recent comments of people who came here after watching bandish bandits ...felt very happy as....people will start understanding why we love this kind of music and all will understand that people hearing such great singers do not symbolize being old fashioned
Bro there is nothing to be tired see the positive side that more people are appreciating the classical music. I am listening it from long ago but this is good to see community growing and these singers getting more audience and recognition....
