Nice... That fork is nice actually. I had an older Auron fork on my old hardtail and it was so much more plush than the RockShox that came stock. Ride it hard without any issues and I weigh 200lbs
Yeah I think I’m going to keep running these forks. as I ride the bike more and more it’s starting to feel similar to my yari forks on my full suspension, just with less travel
I'm 5,9" my meta is a small . I sized by the reach. my reach is near the bikes, Long long story now I sized the bike. But hard tail xc is medium, i had to put a shorter stem because after riding my shoulders would be tired from stretching to far. Now I a need a bit longer one as the front end lifts on climbing to much... i guess i have short than average arms. My little rides 2xs. I am also thinking a more aggressive hardtail.
Yeah it’s tricky, all bikes are built different and they all have different feels to them so it mainly comes down to preference. I love a size medium but this small is starting to feel good 😂🤘
Hey man, I'm thinking about getting a HT and the San quentin3, team marin 2 and kona honzo esd are all on my list of bikes i might buy. I'm coming from a full sus enduro bike and I want a smaller more playful bike with 27.5 wheels that can shred the chunk, learn to jump on and just generally mess around on. Therefore, I'm narrowed to the san quentin 3 out of those 3, but I also want a bike that can pedal all day and climb really well. Its tough because those other 3 bikes seem really good as well but they are 29er and one is more of an XC and the Kona seems like a big bike (I really like the way it looks though). Any thoughts bro?
All great choices! I honestly love the San Quentin 3 but the size is too small for me so I might sell it. Im a small guy but I prefer a size medium in bikes. My buddy has a Kona honzo Esd and that thing is so fun to ride! It’s a tough choice but I would narrow it down to the Quentin 3 and the honzo. If I were you I would try and see if any of your local bike shops have the bikes you want in stock and test ride them, that way you get an idea of what you prefer. Hope that helps!
