Never loosen the CCT while the engine is running. It will looosen the chain tension and can cause cam chan to slip and skip the timing that can lead to catastrophic damage to the engine. Also, you are never supposed to tighten the CCT manuall by hand pressure(by turning it anti-clockwise). This will put excess pressure on the chain guide and ruin it. The guys who are watching your video are not mechanics and can ruin their engine. Please mention this in your video in the beginning.
Thanks a lot brother. I replaced it and it helped. It completely cancelled the sound and engine became very smooth. Showroom guys literally asked for 16k eliminate the problem, and it got solved in 400rs because of this video 🙌🏻
The type of timing chain tensioner is these motorcycle engines are not adjustable. They are either full retracted or extended. Also it is not advised to retract the tensioner when the engine is running. Doing so puts slack on the timing chain and mess with the cam timing which could result in piston hitting the valves and engine failure. The tensioner and timing chain should be replaced if noise is observed. Better to spend few hundred rupees than thousands to fix the whole engine top end. If u want to adjust cam chain tension, buy a aftermarket manual adjustable cam chain tensioner. The stock one is not adjustable.
Bro I'm a big fan of yours.your video s are very helpful for me.the bike which I own is a Yamaha fzs yellow black 2009 model.seriously it's a delight to watch your videos.lots of love. ❤️🙏🙏🙏
Bas kar pagle rulaye ga kya.... but on a serious note bro thank you so much your comments are really motivating I will continue to make more videos on this bike so thanks a lot 🙏.
@@MOTOMENTOR Bhai hum dono ke bike same he.bas aapka golden he aur mera yellow......Yamaha FZ old model will always remain the lord of streets.bhai feelings judi he is bike se. ❤️
Same here bro. This bike is very emotionally connected with me after all its my first bike from my own money so yes it has a special corner in my heart ❤
Ha bhai long term pending hai I know m taking lil long but believe me even m exited to make the video and I will soon shoot this so far its working all good.
Loved your content and already subscribed to your channel brother. I an facing a unique issue in my Cb300r. My bike makes hollow hammering sound while accelerating. Especially between 3-5 k rpm range. Funny thing is that this noise has started to appear post servicing recently. It was not there before. I have got my engine oil changed in this service. Also, my bike’s engine has become noisy and loud. Can i guide me with solution mate? Any video explaining this or you replying to my comment will be good.
@@MOTOMENTOR i think its more of a bubble metal sound. There is hollowness to sound. Sound is probably coming from head side but not sure. One more thing observed, sound decreases upon engine heating. At times its there at times it isn’t. Edit - exhaust sound appears to be more misfiring types and harder than normal too Edit 2 - it’s probably coming from left side of the head.
I did change everything timing chain timing chain guides timing chain tentioner and get my engine oil changed regularly with on time service but still i got this tentioner noise back after a year then my local mechanic removed the tentioner out welded a nut on the tip of the tentioner and fixed it the tik tik sound was gone and more than 6-8 months its running fine without any noise
Hi, i am getting sort of humming noise from the rear of my FZ when i increase my speed. What could be the reason? This started after i changed my rear tyre from earlier 140/70 to stock 140/60 size.
Yes bro tyre change give that sort of noise and vibration even I had the same issue when I just changed my rear tyre from radial mrf to continental 140 but now m back with my stock mrf radial and bike feels more smooth like before. I better suggest to go with mrf radial the 2nd gen tyre not the first gen coz first gen tend to get puncture a lot. Also these vibration have a negative effects on swing arm bush.
@@MOTOMENTOR Thanks for the reply. Also wanted to ask about the oil grade. Which is better for FZ, 20w50 or 20w40? Also how much oil to put with oil filter change? 1.1 litre or 1.2 litre? User manual states 1.1 litre but service manual states 1.2 litre.
Bhai mere bike pulsar 220 me half engine work ki but vibration bohot hai to nuksan to nahi hoga na🙄 our tappit dille rakhe he to koi nuksan to nahi hoga
I have used yamaha 20 40 initially(recommend by manufacturer) then since last 7 years I have used motul 15w 50 semi synthetic however after installing slipper clutch i again used 20 40 mineral as I was experimenting with it but I will be using motul 20w 50 fully synthetic very soon as I have that bottle in spare but post that I will also try motul 300v 15w 50 which is the best but I haven't tested it practically.
@@MOTOMENTOR thanks for reply kindly share the review and experience after using fully synthetic oils Iam having fzs fi v3 and planning to use fully synthetic oil but I have only ridden 5000 km
I'm riding Kurz 110cc. Where's the timing chain adjust screw on (Sounds like ticking is coming from behind air filter 1 side of the Yx lifan 110cc) the pit bike.. Brand new a few months old secure enough. Things tick Over but ermmmm. It's a repetitive I'm sure it shouldn't have. I assumed timing chain Adjust is somewhere upon the grill carburettor
Sir Yamaha szr 2012 modal hai mene engine work karwaya tha 2 mahino ke baad safed dhua dene lagi hai aur plug me oil bhee aaraha hai 2 mahine me hi ye problem aagayi hai aab batao me kya karu 😢plz bro reply fast plz
Hey,i have a r15 v3,i had to change the cam bearing due some sound issue. But after tht my bike idles just like yours, very unstable. Will adjusting it will completely fix it?
Well there are multiple reasons for unstable idles I had mine almost fixed after cleaning carb getting the hose leak fixed and also changing few other components. Since your bike is fuel injected chexk for any leaks around it specially the clamps. M sure rhe air filter is changed too.
Mine had leaks in the pipe as it was not properly tighten belive me check once again coz I have played around a lot with my carb and even bought a new carb which was a bad decision I fixed it by just making sure there is no leake. The other thing i changed was stator plate and ht coil coz I had doubt that the current is not constant. These videos m uploading now were recorded 6monts back i always make sure the things m doing actual works before I upload the stuff.
Kya new bike se bhi ye awaj aa skti hai .mera new Bajaj Pulsar 150 hai .2 sal hua. Thnda engine starte krta hu to hlka tik tik ka sound aata hai .garam hone kebbad awaj chli jati hai . ?
Dada what's shout be do for more get more maileg i got now only 32....my cylinder kit valp time Chin break calipers everything ok...even clts plt also. Pls help for more mail...
M planning for a detail video of what factors can affect your bike milage and this one will cover tiny factors which are affecting the milage just wait for some time. Also let me know which bike you have got?
My gt650 is making constant sparking aound. The more the acceleration the more I can hear the sound and its constant sound. I went to service center and they found loose spark plugs but it still didn't fix it. What could be the problem.
There are multiple reasons for engine noise starting fron tapet , chain tentioner, clutch plates. Can you share the video on my Instagram let me try to recognize that noise also put the bike to neutral and press the clutch and see if the noise reduces.. share your experience.
Aap chain tentioner replace kardo coz mera b problem solve nahi hua tha aur part 2 mai replament ka b video hai. My noise was fixed post changing the changing the chain tentioner.
This is not a DIY😅, and i dont recommend it if your not a qualified mechanic. U can easily mess up with the timing which can ruin yo engine, so guys b careful, its cheaper to take to a qualified mechanic than replacing those parts
See both sounds are very identical and a bit confusing to identify so first try to work on the chain tentioner as its a easy job if no joy then go toward the tappet.
