Anyone spot the deliberate mistake about Kawasakis normally being red! Don't know how that got past scrutiny but I'm going to say it's in homage to my red/green colour-blind mate, Graeme.
Great tip, thanks I've tried that out along with a load of other settings. I've also found that I need to keep consistent with the FPS, resolution and Bit Rate when I save in the editor. If I don't then the picture, especially when riding at speed is rubbish. Keep the top tips coming in!
Gr8 vid, mark. You sound like a very practical rider. If you were here in the states, you and I would be weekly riding mates. What riding protections do you sport around?
I would love to take you up on that offer some day - riding through the US looks amazing. I always wear minimum level 2 safety gear head to foot. I don't care if I'm sweating, the gear goes on. ATGATT - no excuses!
Very sad indeed mark. However, as the weather improves and more bikes come out, the number of reckless riders increases as well. I am an all year round rider/commuter, I do understand that some us us riders don't want to wreck or expose their beautiful (expensive) machines to bad weather, salt etc. Some of these "summer riders"; sit on their bikes in shorts and T-shirts ! Zig zagging, dangerous filtering and overtaking. Absolutely bonkers. I can understand that some car drivers hate us. I am a car driver as well (not often though) so I can see the story from both sides. In some European country it is illegal to ride without proper gear. Some will say that this is a step to far, which is partly true but as a rider, I know the importance of good protective gear even in the summer. I had a serious accident some years ago when I was knocked of my bike on a big round about. My bike was a write off but luckily my gear saved me and I walked away with some bruises. So guys take a good advice on board, wear proper gear and ride safely. Cheers. Great video Mark, thanks.
Thank you for your comments. We are not really in a position to start pointing fingers as we don't know the full details and it is looking likely that the driver is fully to blame. I do agree that summer riders should take extra care and maybe do a refresher course before they head out. I also agree that it's All The Gear, All The Time (ATGATT), no excuses about hot weather etc.. Ride Safe everyone.
The roads in Gloucestershire are a disgrace, the councillors are obviously being paid far too much, maybe some of our council tax should go towards the repairs and not towards the coucillors holidays and flash motors....
