Mike's MTB Adventures Cheers Mike👍🏼. We got away with it just about.... rained when we were on the bus and eased off when riding! Still had a day of wiping the lens every 30seconds though😂😂.
I went on Saturday and the weather was brutal. Rode up the fire road on my ebike and nearly died of exposure at the top. It is a great trail centre, I've been so many times and it is really good that they are constantly improving or changing things up. The trails are constantly maintained and even during the worst of weather ride great. The food is also amazing. I only have 1 or two gripes. The uplift could be better (A chairlift would be nice) and they only have a couple of toilets and 1 shower for upwards of 500 people. Those trails though more than make up for it!
I bet it was a wind tunnel up there between the trees, That is dedication! I think they have plans to extend those facilities ......but you are right..... next to no braking bumps on the trails! A+++
Nick Maclachlan I have heard whispers that they are planning some extensions there with accom ect and I guess toilets! Hahaa..... As for a chairlift ....keep dreaming brother.... 😂😂

It was the first place I went to and iv never done extreme mtb before had some big smashes came off lods of times got a scar on my back from going down the professional course by mistake but iv got body armour and knee pads now just go for it what doesn't kill u makes u stronger
@@MtbTrailHub Definitely brother! I've still got a bloody long way to ride but I think I will be back around July/August! I will have to find myself something a little more comfortable to ride if we are going to hit anything more than single-track though! Hahaha Keep up the good work J, I'm loving it!

Brilliant, great place to build confidence quickly as a novice. Since the making of this video they have added a top to bottom green trail to which would be ideal! Enjoy!
Haha... prepare to be blown off the trails in a wind storm!! To be honest they were great about it, A few trails closed earlier on due to trees fallen in trails etc .... but BPW called in a Tree surgeon and they had some of them back open by afternoon!
Great review mate. No idea how you make these and manage a good ride / day out of it as well?. I only just manged 11 runs and that was with virtually zero faff! What was the name of trail the guy crashes at the start?
Appreciate that, Thanks SJ! It's hard to get all the shots in the day and not hold people up but i try my best! We managed 10 runs that day and that was more than the arms could handle!! haha... First trail was called Half cut....It's way gnarlier in the woods than it looks on camera ! smallish drops with off camber roots to land on!! Good luck! haha
Great vid , My only complaint to the rocks I know it’s part of mountain biking and downhill guys go past them et cetera et cetera but rocks on the trail just makes no sense to me at all especially when they just randomly placed like especially for beginners they just gonna end up getting hurt ☹️ , rim dinger should be re done I think 🤔
You've really got it in for Rim Dinger!! haha.... If you don't like it then just ride the other stuff.....I can see your point about the random rocks thrown in on the reds, I'm guessing it's to add difficulty to the trail over the blues???
Lord Johnathon Hiscock It’s £42 .... not sure why I put a dollar sign🤷🏼♂️.... It costs more than most centres but the facilities and trails are better than most, so it’s fair👍🏼
