Here's A Ride From Skyway Park to Town N County Greenway and to the South Part of the Upper Tampa Bay Trail and then back to the Oldsmar Trail starting point which I cut out of the first part of the video because I've already shown all of that in another video riding from there down to the Courtney Campbell Causeway.
Info on the U-Path that the plans show in a picture map that it's supposed to go down West Shore and then cut East and go back North up Bayshore making a U-shaped Path. I personally can't see that they will put a path down West Shore because it's a tight Road. I've DJed at a few clubs down West Shore and it's very tight even to drive there. Maybe the planner will prove me wrong. The idea and plans and many other bike path plans from 2016 are in this 74 page pdf file are in the link below this. It's the only plans that I have seen anything on the U-path. They prematurely put the sign up to the U-Path in front of the Hyatt Oystercatcher without the trail even being started. I won't recommend riding your bike on George Rd North of Memorial Higway to Hillsborough Ave. It's very dangerous. In the video you will see there was no bike lane and cars were not slowing down for me when they passed me and couple of them came very close. If I had to do that again, I would choose to use the sidewalks when I could. I saw plans in that pdf that they were hoping to put a bike path there but, it's already been 6 years and they haven't so, maybe in the next decade they will.
