It was just the irresponsible media and press coverage frightening everyone into panic buying fuel which then resulted in the supply chain nor being able to keep up with demand. Miss the 502x content but still enjoy all of the vlogs. I’ve been putting my 502x through the paces and have been impressed with its off road capabilities. I did add a little extra fork oil to prevent bottoming as easy. Thanks!
The Ace Cafe looks interesting but I just couldn't face the London traffic to get there. Speed cameras, congestion, cyclists and traffic take all the fun out of riding.
I watched your review where you said you appreciated the NC750X but didn't love it but you're still riding it which is a good thing (I've put a deposit down on an almost identical bike). Has it grown on you at all?
Hi thanks for watching the video. I was using the Honda due to circumstances. I had a fastball 2 month contract in London and my Benelli had a blown fork seal. However I think the Honda is far better suited to city comuting anyway. I do think the Honda is a really good bike but it still doesn't give me the feeling that I cannot wait to ride it again. I honestly do not why as it looks great and rides really well. I guess it just lacks character for me. I'm sure you won't be disappointed with the bike. There are loads of people who love them and with good reason. Ride safe 👍 🙏
Hi yes I can't wait to get back home. I have seen pictures of the new bigger capacity bike and I'm in two minds over it. Firstly I think its a good move by Benelli to attract brand new customers as the 502 was perceived to be underpowered by a lot of people however as they haven't really made any changes to the styling or provided any big upgrades such as an electrics / rider modes package, I'm not sure if the small increase in power will be enough to tempt customers who already own the 502 to upgrade. For me personally it's not worth the cost to upgrade from my 502 for those reasons. It would make more sense for me to sell my 502x and add that money to the cost of a bigger capacity litre plus bike such as an Africa twin or V Strom. I'm a little bit gutted really as I was looking forward to a new bigger capacity bike from Benelli. Ride safe.
