Bike Shed Moto Show II - 2013! 

For some reason I read this as LA show...cool to see this archival footage!

Loved this show. Feels more like a year ago, not 11.

This is still my favourite of all the shows, from watching the bikes ride in, checking out the parking and catching up with friends to the intimacy of the venue, and the contrast between the different sides of the road, the arches full of hustle and bustle, the open art space across the way quieter and more contemplative. There's a part of me hankers for those days, before everyone was on the scene, sure it's fantastic that we don't have to hunt out everything anymore, that the manufacturers will serve us up anything from a retro bike to jeans and wax jackets with armour to protect our aging bones, but is it better? I'm not so sure.
