Ok what have we learned here? Listen to your inner squirrel. Naomi's squirrel buddy sent messages to the squirrel kingdom to watch out for her. Squirrels might be her spirit animal. I mean how funny is that scene. I could see a whole alternate jump cut scene showing the squirrel sending out a messages to squirrel nation to help Naomi after premonitions of danger to her. And they ironically worry about being misunderstood or road kill. He even sends a special nut to throw at her. Ok guys taking notes on dating Naomi HUGE item for you to pay attention to that she dropped on you. No kids or grandkids and the baby factory is closed if you didn't pick up on that. It won't go good for you if you ignore that tidbit; ignore at your own peril is all I'm saying guys. This is a tough one to name. I mean last episodes butt cleavage sunrise was glorious and inspired many viewers and ideas. I mean it made me think nature witch throwing down the feminine power. It was impressive as hell. The edit on this was fantastic. I loved the you from the past scene brilliantly done. You have to decide on if you want that energy or not; either way don't let anyone judge your decisions. I am more of the story than special effects person . I do have stories in my head all the time. I have a full on movie parsing out, and I have a story that could be a kids story or a Avatar meets Neverending Story movie. I have dreams that are way way wilder than any movies that I've ever seen. Many of them would be great movies if I ever fleshed them out. I am dong crazy sh!t all over the universe in my dreams. Well - they (D Hulbert) WON! I'll have to see how YT deals with the words asses in the title. If views start slowing I may need to change it. Loved your write up. Really helps me in learning what others find funny or interesting. My kids rant? There will always be a bit of hesitation within when posting something to THE WORLD but that's when I tap back in searching for my sincere instincts for the answer. Lol! Same here, I chose not to have kids. On that subject, on my last bikepacking trip, some kids stole one of my cycling shoes (I heard them laughing) Imagine! One! The next morning I was stuck with the task of figuring how the hell I was going to pedal 100 k with one shoe. Well I figured it out and made it to my next destination. Love your authenticity as usual. :-)

@@HumanontheLoose Me neither until it happened to me of course. My solution? I had to wear my flat water shoes and was able to buy a new pair of cycling shoes the next day. Do I have to tell you how much the bottom of my feet hurt at the end of the day? Flat shoes and soft soles don’t mix well with clipless pedals. Believe me you, from now on my shoes go inside my one person tent. :-)
How did the early traiblaizers eat, they were on an extended camping adventure, death almost garaunteed. It was most not a fun experience but one which the extremely skilled could weather.
This season is awesome! Everyone wants the perfect trip, who wouldn’t, but shit happens and you’ve gotta roll with it! I did a trip a couple years ago, blind in one eye with a cataract I went anyway, had a shit time and filmed it, why not right? Immediate gratification with perfect weather, everyone’s dream! Have you tried hammock camping? It was a game changer for me. When I realized that there are far more trees 12-15 feet apart, than clear, flat spots for a tent, I was sold. I often hammock in my back yard, just because it's the best sleep on the planet. If you are concerned that there are no trees, pack two hiking poles, and learn to throw a tarp..... love yer shit. H.
LOVE hammocks for general use but no way for a long trip! I think I talk about this in Season One around "Day 6" or is it "Day 13" hmm. Can't tarp it either - need mesh around me at night. I told you in the last episode - "I'm a high maintenance camper" 😂

Sitting in my tent on my first bike packing trip. 340 miles in and my butt is killing me. The bike seat is enemy #1. I don’t know how you do it. Don’t ever seam to complain about the seat.
OH-MY-GOSH!!! Howwwwww EXCITING! 💃 What seat are you using? Is it plastic or leather? How many miles did you put on it before this trip? In Season One (Selle Anatomica) was BRUTAL but I didn't break the leather in AND was on a lot of steep sections where I felt the nose design was too high and best for bike touring. @@HumanontheLoose I live on east coast. Plan was to do the GAP and C&o. Then go over to niagra falls and go east. Seat is a plastic specialized. I switched out my brooks which was a mistake. This is Prep for great divide next yr. Not sure I’m doing that with out a good seat

I don't have to be there to understand you could have made better choices. I have hiked in some of the most remote parts of this country. You never want to leave yourself in that position.

Folks in Finland and some of those other Nordic countries are more blunt and don't sugar-coat. Itchy Boots (moto adv vloger) got told a funerial 'ni' by the boarder patrol in Finland and as rude as it quietly was, the Finns and other Nordic types feel blunt honesty is, for lack of better words, kinder and more honest than fake sugar-coating that we do in the U.S. Also, i kind of wish there was an anti-social Bikepacking club; nobody would show up for the meetings or rides though... [Get your bike down to Northern Nevada when the smoke clears and the national forests here are reopened; tons of good riding. (Pony Express Trail, Ruby Mountains, Sierras, Peavine Range in Reno, etc.) I'll also have to make a point to potentially check out Idaho next season. Looks a lot like my backyard but, with more trees.
