I honor being human by randomly roaming this wondrous marble floating in space. I spend my time seeking out things I've never done - and do them - solo. It started young. My mom has stories! 😂

I always meet the kindest people while traveling by bike.I don't know what it is but they always want to help with whatever it is you need,,are curious and just amazingly kind!
Great to see all the options next to each other, but the getting on and off seems a faff. I found Restrap that has a light frame that you pop a dry bag into, which seems a better engineered solution.
1:53 The Hefty bag, always a good option. I saw the bunny (like the Bunny Poster in the restaurant in Boise) and bear - the title of the book, though, that made me smile. How was that book anyway?
What an epiphany, you realizing that you could have used your sleeping pad as a floatation device and saved a few pounds. It's these little gems, not the very, very nice bun shot (🤗) that keeps us coming back, Naomi, and that's saying something... Also, photos of you in glasses are the best! Maybe it's just me, but i love 'em. And that sunset was so brief, it would almost be easy to have missed it. But how great a moment that would be on that lake right then. Very cool.
Human OTL, Naomi Stock got me worked up about bicycle touring, and me 74. I used to tour a lot---36,000 miles through 19 countries. In 2022 I did 1300---1400 miles through Washington, Oregon, Arizona, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. In 2023 It was about 600 miles in Florida using US highway 1, the C2C cross Florida rail trail, US highway 19, and highway 60. Naomi Stock looks good with that long blond hair, that trim athletic physique, that will for adventure and action. I have not met her. I wish I were 30 years younger, or 40.
Great video👍 I always, always, always carry a few little bottles of tequila. Muli-purpose as they're excellent for disinfectant and for absolutely horrible days. I usually stash one in my medical kit & a few (too many) more in the corners of my pannier bags. Sanitation & sanity are crucial, because bacteria infections & mental breakdowns can cut a bikepacking trip short.
This is the first time I've been on you tube in about a year, and I have missed watching your posts. I can totally understand why you have backed off on shooting and posting videos. You were really going at it and working hard for quite some time so kicking back for a while is really the thing to do. Plus I have plenty of video of yours to catch up on. Lol. I hope you had a great Holiday season and wishing you well. ❤
