In the scorching midsummer heat and chased by a swarm of bugs, I go bikepacking with a fatbike to Pihlajaniemi outdoor trails in Savonlinna, all geared up for an overnight adventure. But was it really an adventure since I had a good GPS trail to follow the whole time? I let you decide on that. Main purpose was to test out some bikepacking bags and see how Pole Taiga with front suspension handles the load and what kind of terrain I can conquer with this setup. I spend the night near Tervastupa and enjoy the sauna facilities - much recommended!
