I passed you yesterday on trans Pennine Trail at Woodhead Res. That white handle bar bag you can see for miles and I think it’s unique to you. I ended up doing the reverse route to you, back to Glossop. Great vid. Thanks.
Great stuff, I'll be out that way again soon. I just bought a MTB, there's only so much of the peak district a gravel bike can reach so it'll be interesting to see what else is out there. I am particularly interested to see what the link between the Slippery Stones bridge at Derwent Water up to the Transpennine Trail is like; always wanted to ride out that way.
@joshibbett tomorrow seems the better day of the two this weekend so gonna pick up some fresh trails from the gpx. Ha gravel bikini never heard it that way. Felt like a bikini at granguanche gravel at times 😅
I will be in the Peak District with my family soon and can squeeze in 2 days to ride this route. I don’t think I will have enough time to do the whole route, so I might only cover about 70% of it. Which part of the route would you recommend the most? Thanks!
Great video as always! Even with the poor conditions you always seemed to be having a great time, do you think that comes with experience, having the right equipment or a mix of both?
Hi, you’ve implied that this route is best suited to a mountain bike, but how doable would this route be on a Mason ISO (which is really a rigid drop bar mtb)?
@@joshibbett Yeah, thought as much. The frame bags were tested extensively and for quite some time as you documented. Any idea how long before the bar bag setup might reach production?
