We were heading back to our hotel after a trackday. Waiting at the traffic lights this Mustang passed us and drifted into the oncoming lane causing a crash with the couple sitting in the Maserati. The Mustang driver was under the influence of something.
After checking on him I went to the couple in the Maserati to check on them. At first the Mustang driver stayed at the accident, but after 2 minutes he decided to run. The other guys chased him down. When he heard the sirenes coming he ran away for the second time, my friends chase him down again and luckily the police arrived and arrested the Mustang driver.

When he initially said "where are you guys coming from" he is starting an investigation. I know people think cops are trying to be your buddy but please don't be so naive. Police are always on alert to gather intel and arrest someone.

@johnny flappie I think he absolutely was a jerk to the guys on the motorcycles at the beginning. He had an attitude with them and questioed them about where they were coming from. The guys on the motorcycles were committing any kind of traffic violation or crime. It is absolutely none of the officers business where the guys were coming from. The guys were nice enough to tell him but they didn't have to. So in my opinion the cop was an jerk at first. Cops don't have to be jeks to do their jobs.

This biker did an excellent job at handling the situation but helping the crash victims and making sure someone was calling 911. A lot of people just sit and watch and expect others to help but he did a great job at taking charge

It'a called the bystander effect. Wish it wasn't this way, but people are less likely to help the more people there are. This is due to a diffusion of responsibility. However, when someone begins to help then probability of others helping increases. #Psychology

If you look deeper into Bystander Effect research, you'll know that it's not necessarily because bad people are bad but also because good people are good. Yes, if you're a douche you'll do nothing because you assume other people are helping, but many people also do nothing because they don't want to get in the way or don't know what they can do or if there's anything that needs to be done. The only thing worse than nobody trying to help is everybody piling over each other trying to help.

This is just a guess but I’d assume that they all probably have some medical training and experience with those types of things. Biking can be dangerous at the best of times and injuries are probably somewhat common. Completely agree, amazing guys!

There is nothing compared to EMT's in The Netherlands. To be working as a paramedic you first have to become a registered nurse(4 years), than become ER/IC nurse which takes 1.5 years of training and than you have to do a paramedic training which also takes about 1 year. The response time of ambulances in the Netherlands is max 12 minutes. And the time starts as soon as they pick up the phone.

I was in a bus accident in Macedonia. There where 16 people dead and im very sorry for them i had 2 friends in the bus they are gone now. Bikers probably contributed to the mustangs road rage by blocking off the entire lane forcing him to do an illegal turn to get around the Bikers in the first place. You don't just stop indefinitely at an intersection to wait for all your Bikers buddies to catch up. They should have followed the rules of the road too.

Great job guys! I work as a paramedic in a large city that also has miles of rural areas where this kind of thing happens quite often. It was really great to see you step up right away and get in there and start assessing the patients. Gloves and everything. I would be lucky to have a group like you guys get there before me. Usually its cameras and everyone standing around saying that someone should do something. Awesome job, subbed!

Yay to the bikers from Europe to be so kind to render aid and be compassionate. I'm so glad the woman is okay...that looked very scary! Excellent video! That black guy had no control over the power of his car while taking that turn at too high rate of speed. He was trying to be a showoff at no regard to anyone else's safety on the road.

Well most motorcycle videos that have sport cars in them they usually try to race each other and or show off. So my guess is he tried to drift to impress the bikers and then he failed to make the drift and ended up hitting the oncoming traffic. So then after the hit he probably felt pretty stupid that he fucked up his nice ride and is also in deeper shit. So that’s probably why he ran. But he didn’t run that far so not sure why they think he did. Because he was across the street away from the girl like the guy video taping wanted him to be. So not sure why he’s complaining. Lol. But yeah.
