That is not actually what it Does. It blocks some of the low bass in the audio signal and this keeps you from overdriving your speakers at the frequencies that the leveler blocks . The problem with that is it also takes out the good low bass signal that is not boosted , so you are actually not getting all of the audio signal. It is literally cutting out the low bass in the music . So this is not a good solution for bikes running subwoofers or large mid bass drivers that can actually handle the bass .
