Found this to be a jaw dropper as you described this insanely complex digestive mechanism much like explaining the complex motor and engine systems from the inside out. Thank You.
I haven’t learnt the first part about Bile Acids ever before. But now I understand it thoroughly. You are extremely brilliant in teaching, keep up the great work. We need this during Quarentine.
Now do a video for those of us who don't have a gallbladder, and what we can do to break down fats, carbs, protein, and create the same cycle when we had a gallbladder
You are a great teacher because like the enzymes you are describing you help me by breaking done some very complex material so my brain can process and digest it- well done!
I hvae just watched this again... ( i only got halfway through last time) can i just say this is an EXCELLENT video- you could lecture! You are very good at explaining this whole process and so easy to understand. You now have a new fan~! Off to FB i go to find you. BIG THANKS.
Thank you very much, I studied this information a lot, but I could not confirm and understand it, except with this wonderful explanation, a clear and easy to understand explanation Thank you for your effort
WOW! Amazing video. Full of wonderful nuggets of information. I think I finally get how it all works now. You nicely put the entire system together in a macro way with the right amount of details. Bravoooooooooo!

You are bloody amazing. This was my first watch with you ….I watch a whole lot more if you have them. Just amazing to understand that the way you do. Wow, and sharing it. Wow.
Sir, you summarized an almost 2 hr lecture in 12 minutes and 32 seconds and it was like a light bulb went on.. At the end of your video I was like "WOW", I was just speechless.. Thank you so much for what you do. A BSN senior here.🙏
Great video, many thanks! I also watched your video on eye anatomy and physiology, which was so helpful. Could you please post one on overall liver physiology? Thank you
Great video! One question: only bile acids were mentioned in this instruction. But bile is also very alkaline. Where does the alkalinity come in? I guess it's from the potassium, sodium, etc. mentioned.
You explained very well how and where secondary bile acids are conjugated!! However, I am having a hard time figuring out where and how the the primary bile acids are conjugated :(
I enjoyed the video very much. I understand why I need them what I need to know is how I get them. I'm not good with words so I may not have said that right but I believe I need more bile. I drink a lot of water. I eat healthy. I still believe I need more bile.
please help, my gallbladder is not functioning properly , how can i get it working properly again ? i cannot digest food at ll , not just fatty foods , I'm in agony, i don't want it removed . please help
Okay this might sound wild. If you did a test with feces to see where it falls in between the life thriving between base and acidic would that dial in a good diet plan?
I only thought bile was a base that combined with stomach acid infused food within the colon to react and break down food before this video, now I know its alot more complex.
Love your mustache) and Like from me)) I have a question - think you may 1 little mistake. you said that primary bile acid are secreted to gut, and only after reabsorption - they conjugated. think its wrong - they conjugated in liver before secretion, and bacteria deconjugate them. so what is reabsorb - is secondary bile acid (please note that lithocholic acid almost do NOT reabsorbed, only deoxycholic acid primary absorbed) - will be conjugated again - but not 1st time. Please comment if I'm wrong. Sincerely
So correct me if I'm wrong, so basically because of fatty meal and excess cholesterol, all these can be absorbed back to the liver and the liver creates bile with higher concentration of cholesterol than the previous one? And part of it stores in the gall bladder and someday precipitates to gallstones?
Thank you! Curious what might cause pain of the liver/gallbladder (constant dull pain on the right side) area when no stones have been seen through ultrasound, CT or HIDA scans? Thanks in advance.
