The bilinear transform is a method of converting an analog filter into a digital filter. It is often confusing and the reasoning behind it is not understood. This video attempts to explain the bilinear transform simply.

Can someone explain minute 3? how is 0 + 2j mappd to the left top corner of unit circle?

From what I understand, the point on the s-plane s = 0+j2 is inserted into the relation z = e^(a+jw)T where a = 0, w = 2, and T = 1. Since that point is only on the imaginary axis of the s-plane, the radius value on the z-plane =1. Therefore z = 1*e^jw where w = 2 in radians which is equal to ~115 deg aka the top left of the unit circle.
