Definition and properties of the bilinear transform for converting between continuous- and discrete-time system representations in the context of filter design.
My Great Uncle Arnold Tustin came up with the Bilinear Transform, otherwise called the 'Tustin method'. As I am not a mathematician, I'm still quite confused. Can someone please explain it in simple layman's terms and give me examples of how it is applied?
