By unpopular opinion Love Jones is not all that good. It may be the writing or the editing of the film. Some parts seemed rushed/unfinished. I never liked why the scene with Isiah Washington when he cheated on his wife was shot. Nia long is the villain in the movie, and the poetry was mid 🤷🏾‍♀️
