@@davidoriggan Indirectly; because the joke is about Burr's idea of how to control population size, and he mentions as a part of arguing for it, how some people appear to only exist to be dumb/bad drivers taking up space and screwing over everyone else. 😅
Bill's little performance during this bit and the Helicopter story are hilarious, very cartoony. I loved Ash's face during the whole bit being called out.
A ferry isn’t a cruise ship ! The idea of a cruise wasn’t good to me at all but was actually fun. The key is getting a good modern ship and a good cabin.
You will not notice the movement on a cruise ship mate. Ship I was on went through the edge of a hurricane and the only movement we noticed was the bathroom door started moving. We didn’t know we had gone thru the hurricane until we got back and heard it on the news.
Bill Burr has 2 or 3 other bits about population control, and they are all brilliant. I hope Ash understands that they are jokes, and Bill isn’t being serious. 😂😂 You need to have her react to Big Jay Oakerson- Guilt!!!
Cruises blow unless you’re elderly or a kid😂otherwise it’s exactly what he described just a few days of hammered drunk in a floating hotel! In America your options are floating around drunk in the hot humid Bahamas or in cold Alaska! Best part is before you set off you must complete an evacuation drill just to remind you that you could end up a personcicle like titanic or brightly colored happy meals for sharks👍
There are ferries at least between Finland-Sweden and Finland-Estonia that serves as both cruise-ships where you just go to have fun. And as a method to travel between two countries.
Cruises are for people who don’t want to see countries, but pull up to them in a boat, see EVERYTHING the same 4 million people they do that with has them back on the ship. “Didyou get your take-home glass at that dumb bar we have a revenue-share with? Great. Great.”
I've been on a few cruises that go to the Caribbean. You're right... I don't really care to see Jamaica and the Bahamas. I just want to go to the beach. But you can both go on cruises and also go visit countries. I travel to Europe to see countries and explore. I take cruises to the Caribbean and Mexico to have fun.
I went on a cruise from Boston to Bermuda. 2 days to get there, one day on the island, 2 days back. Not the greatest vacation but the drinks were strong, food was good. Better off flying straight there and enjoying the island.
I have shop at a pier where cruise ships moor in the Caribbean. So I know a few things about it. there is a specific way to use cruises that is both fun and efficient. You go on a cruise in order to test out different countries so you can figure out which one suits you for your real vacation the following year. If you were to fly to Bonaire, Cozumel and another island... you would end up spending far more that a regular cruise on plane tickets alone. So a cruise is a good way to visit all these places, while have a safe home base to go back to and saving money on airfare.
I love burr I do but I see everyone’s facial expressions when reacting to this. It’s not some embarrassing thing to go on a cruise. Ppl don’t typically go on cruises in hopes of impressing everyone else. Ppl vacation to block out reality, get pampered and have fun and forget reality for a weekend or week…a cruise is one way to do that. Going to some island resort or cabanas by plane is the same traveling as a cruise or going somewhere directly by car is the same…also, there are cruise ships like Norwegian that don’t dictate your entire stay. They give you THEIR options sure but it’s a fucking boat not a city. This bit is hysterical and I love quoting it but it’s a rare time where I just don’t agree with him. I’m sure he must go on some vacations where he gets to learn every single detail about life wherever he goes ..and that’s fine, nothing wrong with that. But to guilt ppl out of living like kings for small period of time I find ridiculous. We don’t all get paychecks like bill does …as I have said already .
I've only been on 1 cruise and the only reason I went was because it was the Monsters Of Rock Cruise and there were over 30 metal bands playing concerts all the time. I didn't really care about the cruise, I just wanted to see a ton of concerts over 3 days as well as chat with all these musicians and especially drink till dawn with the ones I already knew and were friends with.
Hey guys! I've never used Patreon before, but I'm a big fan of It's Always Sunny. The SU2C Bake-offs are a good laugh as well. I'm not familiar with it so if you don't mind me asking; What season are you on of Sunny? Do you watch the SU2C episodes? (or planning to) and what is the cost of the tier (or what ever they call it) that is needed to watch? Pardon my ignorance, but just wanted to know before I went making an account. If it's like a fiver, or round abouts, I'd be more than happy to. Thanks
Do the Greek Islands on the Star Clipper. Giant multi-masted sailboat, carries about 100 passengers. There are as many crew on board as passengers. It's a great time, my friends went last year.
A cruise is ok for people who just want to disconnect and basically turn off their brain. Good for high intensity workers like nurses, doctors, lawyers, etc. But its also good for people who want to meet other people because you are all contained and you can make connections i guess.
I HIGHLY recommend George Carlin's posthumously released special called I Kinda Like It When A Lot Of People Die! He recorded it on 9/9/2001 and 9/10/2001 not knowing that 9/11 was going to happen! Because of that he decided to not release it! But it got released after he died!
Cruise ships are larger than ferries, I know because I've seen the Ferries in Scotland, they are big but not bigger than those damn Disney cruise type ships.
If your doing great British bake off then you’ve got to do the Uncle Roger reaction to the Japanese week! I won’t spoil it but just check it out it is worth it!
Yall are so cool man, Florida showing love, just was going to recommend like YNW Melly Mama Cry or Dee Watkins “bad ass jit” just a diff thing than y’all are used to seeing and I’d love to see insight to how people across the pond view. Much love
Respectfully, don't be dissuaded, go on a cruise ship for a few days or a week. I will agree that medium to heavy drinking is better reserved for the later part of the trip. Also: avoid Carnival cruises. Other than that, they're a BLAST.😎
I am with Bill Burr and Tom Papa the other comedian that talks about it their giant toilets people are eating drinking and pooping and then dumping it in the ocean it shouldn’t be we’re not meant to be there if you want to go to the beach go to the country and go to the beach 😂😂
How’s it going with getting the Norm “moth joke” up? It would be totally fine if you do some small edits to it if that would help against the blocking!
I got sucked into a cruise about ten years ago. It was a five-day Carnival cruise that was free for me and my GF because her granddad invited us. I've never been so bored. It's just drinking and slot machines with a bunch of middle-aged drunk women hitting on you, and pensioners gambling. The entertainment was dreadful. Some no-name comic who did a bit part in a movie in the 1990s that you never heard of takes the stage for a family-friendly 20 minutes of generic dreck. If you dream of spending several days living at Walmart, a cruise is the way to go.
Been on 3 cruises. Bahamas and Cozumel. Tons of fun. You have an entire ship full of things to do and eat whenever you want. Just free time to entertain yourself.
A fairy and a cruise ship is nowhere close to the same thing. And if you wake up hungover on the boat you should probably get your ass off onto dry land. Cruising is the thing to do. Sitting on a plane for 12 hours is ridiculous
First 3 or 4 day/nights are super fun. Eat, drink, smoke and party non stop. After that it gets old REAL fast and your like get me the fuck off of here, im soo done. Lol. Dockings are lame most times, 4hrs, 2hrs, 8hrs, thats it. If your lucky MAYBE over night but not often. Its not enough time to explore at all.
