I am 54 years old. I was a young adult when I first saw Bill Maher on tv. At that time, my thought of him was, “he is a misogynistic ass who is trying to be edgy.” My opinion hasn’t changed, and from the bits I see featured on channels like this, it seems to me that he has gotten much worse.

It's rather sad to see Bill Maher age before our eyes. He has been going down hill for several years now and has turned into a pathetic, unfunny old fart. There is a manditory retirement age for pilots. How bout maditory retirement age for commedians. Bill is past his expiration date. I have said it before, but I truely think Maher will end up with a show on Fox one day.

Most protesters on a college campus are not protesting in favor of Hamas. Might people be a little confused in this incredibly tangled mess of issues? Maybe. But most people are not saying "I'm standing for Hamas' right to indiscriminately bomb Israel." They are saying that killing so many civilian non-combatants in pursuit of an enemy is unacceptable and wrong. How can anyone be against that?

I loved seeing Burr put him in his place but I really think Mahr is just old and out of touch and lives in an echo chamber of his own bullshit. He has talking points that he holds onto and spews out on cue of old views that he has not updated in a long time. It was kind of sad to see him pulling out old memorabilia scraps to show Seinfeld when he interviewed him and Jerry was clearly trying to be polite by seeming interested just out of respect. He has no kids he has no wife and all he has are his memories of old showbiz, I mean he still brings up Johnny Carson like it was yesterday. I kind of feel bad for the guy but Burr was exactly what he needed, someone to be forthright with him.

Centrist is a kind word for someone who is flimsy about challenging the developing control of authoritarianism. Bill Maher can be entertaining to listen to, like hearing a rant from an uncle at a family gathering, but at the end of the day he speaks about his feelings and experiences as though they are hard facts while portraying other people's feelings and experiences as soft issues empty in his view of facts or merit.
