This is probably one of Opies best episodes. Shit why cant Opie be like this most of the time, he's fine here, he goes with the flow and he's adding to the conversation. Also Bill is right about dogs, most people have no common sense and dont know how to approach animals or act around them. Feel bad for the dogs that get put down because their owners are incompetent.
Carlos I know I'm 2 years late, but I think it's because he knew he was losing jim and Ant mid-show. He's not so foolish as to not recognize Bill and Bobby were bailing him out for the rest of the show. He has his moments of good collaboration.
it's weird. he wasn't funny but he wasn't unbearably annoying. i wonder if it's because jimmy and ant weren't there so opie didn't feel like he needed to compete or show off or anything. like just look at how their conversation is so relaxed and natural and opie isn't ruining the flow with calls. why couldn't he just always be like that
I disagree. He's tense. Jumping in without thinking. Uncomfortable. Easy to hate on the guy, especially these days, but he really couldn't do it even with Burr & Bobby taking over.
A hamburger without the cheese is good. A cheese sandwich without a burger is also good. But nothing will ever compare to a cheeseburger That's my comparison when it comes to Opie and Anthony. Separate they can both hold their own. Some people prefer one over the other. But together? There's nothing else like it in the world
"Think of your own shit, cunt" Line of the day here by Jimmy. I never got that about Improv groups. If the audience has to think of stuff for you, then it's not truly improv.
