I love watching female reactions to his rants like this, as they come face to face with the double standard at how its totally acceptable of female violence against male, but not the other way around. Bill and Nia actually finally had a "come to Jesus" moment about their relationship, and he forced her to recognize that she WAS abusive towards him, he was ready to walk.
The first time i got hit was when i tried to separate two people who were fighting (there were a lot of people in the mix but two the main ones), and a punch just flew onto my face and i didnt even knew who it was, didnt hurt but until this day i remember that first punch and think something along the lines of what bill said, i just stop and think about the situation, and every time that ive got into a fight with whoever i remember that punch. maybe 20 years ago, maybe more. Crazy
Best advice I ever got was don't step into a fight if your not willing to take a hit. mainly cause people don't know what they are doing when mad and you'll probably get hit.

Somewhat related to the last point but knew a girl in college who didn't show up to a club meeting one day because she said she was jumped by three girls the night before and was in the hospital with a concussion. As extreme as that is, she said it so matter-of-factly and before she went to the hospital, she went to an Apple store to replace her broken phone. A part of me wanted to not believe her but she was the kind of person that lived in their own world and I could see her thinking "yup, these priorities are reasonable."
Kind of sad not to be punched in face not even one time in lifetime. It makes you reflect on many levels just like Bill said. Pain is short but lessons timeless
lol one party i was taking shots of crown then two people walked into the kitchen and started chanting "fuck the cup" which in other words is chug...then all of a sudden everyone in the party was in the kitchen chanting the same thing...i looked at the bottle and in my head i was like well i guess i am going to have to do this...i then chugged the whole bottle as fast as i could and emptied it...i later got a can of pepsi to chase it...i then proceeded to get the most drunk i have ever been but i didnt black out....i remember talking to my friend at the party and just slapping him in the face and immediately apologizing to him bc it was a random impulse bc i was soo drunk..but i let him slap me as hard as he could so we could be even...surprisingly i did not vomit

It had actually gotten so bad with his now wife that he told her if she put her hands on him again it was over. He had her on his podcast and she admitted that she didn't realize how far she was taking things. She would always defend her actions by saying "im just passionate" but it was a real problem for a period of time. That being said they were both young and have chilled out over the years and really seem to have a great marriage. They're both highly outspoken and opinionated so they jokingly argue with each other on a regular basis
JayShara you're l very young to worry about reaching the cutoff point. I think the cutoff point is around mid 40s plus for many that I have seen. You are the best, always.

It's not an excuse, but alcohol does relax you to a point that you might do something you normally wouldn't. It also makes people stumble around and fall into things. As far as "hitting your face" and "you deserved it" then I'd have to turn it around. Were they drunk where they did things they normally wouldn't? If so, then again, it's not an excuse, but alcohol does relax you enough to do things you normally wouldn't. If they weren't drunk... Well, that's a whole different kettle of fish. I was brought up, it's never right to hit a woman in the face. Women when they fight tend to use their nails. Not sure if they go after the face, unless it's a slap. I've never gotten into a fight with a woman to know how they fight. Cat fights, well, yeah, like I said already.
She litterly proved bills theory she said she never been slapped or punched every guy on earth has at least gotten slapped by there mother yes I know after that she said she probably did but getting punched in the face isint something you forget unless it happens like every day
