Betsy DeVos is working hard to ensure that the school system will deter the poor and promote the wealthier parents to enrol their children in private schools. When students get to college and university age, they will be faced with massive costs that only the rich will be able to afford. Most very bright people come from all economic backgrounds and Betsy DeVos is ensuring that the poor won't mix with the wealthy or get an education or get the good jobs or have a say in government.
@magnus08f250
@magnus08f250 6 лет назад
Robert Evans is this a joke? School of choice is the best solution. Look at New York City, Houston, Miami, etc. Charter schools out perform public schools every year. You know nothing about the poor community.
@ReevansElectro
@ReevansElectro 6 лет назад
I was born poor and raised poor and attended public school until I put myself through a state-sponsored college and then taught at that college for 20 years. My wife taught in a public high school for 30 years. Do you really think I don't know about the poor and the school system? Charter and private schools attract the better students and don't have to take those students who are at risk. Poor families usually have poor education and don't choose better schools for a variety of reasons like transportation, social pressure and scholastic performance. If schools 'cherry pick' students based on the families self-sorting based on economics and parent educational experience then by default charter schools will be 'better' and attract more funding and get even 'better'. To see examples of good public schools, look at Canada and European public schools where they outperform the US of A by a huge margin. The US of A ranks in the middle of the world's counties and at the bottom of developed nations when it comes to student performance. You obviously studied in the company of people like Betsy DeVos who are not well educated and not very well travelled. When was the last time that you read a book that was not a 'graphic novel' (comic book)?
@magnus08f250
@magnus08f250 6 лет назад
Robert Evans yep you don’t have a clue about education. Germany basically has school of choice and outperforms us in every category. Charter schools give the poor the best education in America. We should be more like Europe and decentralize education.
@lijie6431
@lijie6431 6 лет назад
Robert Evans we tried it your way for many years. Just throwing money at the problem doesn’t fix anything. Lets give school choice a shot.
@ReevansElectro
@ReevansElectro 6 лет назад
The US of A is 39th in the world standing and could easily adopt one of the successful methods from the top 10 but alas, Betsy DeVos wants to create a school system for the rich elites and let the poor and middle class get further behind. Patterning after India is likely not to be successful with their private schools and 'choice of schools' but you can go ahead and try that rather than following Canada's lead. (We're #6)

It's not different from now, what is the difference? It makes sense if he says that these jobs are promising now so will be subdivided in the future and these jobs will continue to be important in the future. It sounds like he's talking about something great but it's not. I wasn't expecting anything great because it's Bill Gates. The exaggerated expression is funny. He is a person who lives with honor. Science has always been important. If science is the foundation of innovation, business management is an activity for innovation. If the manager does not receive the key information necessary for innovation from the experts, he fails. Managers are not experts. I hope you don't talk like an experts. It seems that bill gates needs a future expert.

His heart is a size of an ocean, unfortunately, most people don't value it in America. Do you want to know the face of kindness look like? Look his at face, if you don't see kindness, you have dark heart.
@stevenstoffers4669
@stevenstoffers4669 6 лет назад
bull. not a black heart.... not a Conspiracy Theory.... just the way it has to be.... Gates talks about the future for the "general population" to listen to.... wonderful.... same same Elon Musk.. a better example.... more obvious and easier to see.... Elon *****was***** all but OCD when it came to his one and single raison d'etre....... that is.... up until he started becoming an American celebrity a few years back. that's not a dark heart, it's the same one that has kept me healthy.. and well situated. Hansen testified..... and has been totally spot on..... along with Paul R. Ehrlich if you enjoy celebrities, there you go!..... they have ****real**** heart..... and have been dead right on..... except..... for the timing thing eh?....... since 1975. another example..... in the USA the NY Times silos the topic with a dumbed down daily sidebar thing.. whereas with websites such as The Guardian... have horrific 'dark heart' reality coverage... on an almost hourly basis..... of a failing habitat. Humans are Not Animals.. We are Intelligent... Our Technology is Powerful.. and Kim Jung Un's granddad was born on a Magic Mountain.. and the Jews are responsible for losing WW1............ and we Humans have shat in our own nest.

Bill Gates, in a recent interview with CNBC, shared his insights on the skills that will be most in-demand in the job market of the future. My top 3: 1. *Bureaucrat* : more societies tend to have over-regulated societies. Destroy our societies by making a ton of regulations and formulas written in a language non-bureaucrats can't understand 2. *Psychologist* : more people suffer from stress and burnouts because higher cost of living and competition on the labour market. 3. *Divorce lawyer* : you know why ...
