I LOVE witnessing Bill laugh like that. Not everyone can get him there. Conan. Andy here. Fred Armisen. But when Bill finally snaps and laughs uncontrollably it’s a sight. He looks like an entirely different man lol. And his unbridled joy is infectious.
I wish he had said it more seriously, even to the point of trying to be menacing. Instead he said it like he knew he was joking, which kind of undermines the whole bit of anti-roasting
The moment later on where Bill is laughing hysterically and Andy breaks for just a split second and says "Thanks Bill" is my favourite of this absolute masterpiece. "My old homie" ❤
@dylanwesley3964 yeah, if it was in the last 5 years, it would be more of an intervention, with a smaller group of people. Rather than a roast. I could see how it would be confusing, if one hadn't seen the original.
Samberg is the only one who could ever pull this off. One of the best roasts ever and anyone else who tries this angle will be humiliated in their failure.
Everyone with a well-known face basically has a "gimmick".. Seth Rogan can't help but laugh like he needs an inhaler after every "uhhurhurhurhur". Or like he's being choked out by a funny bully. Breaking the wall on a roast, by being "mediocrely funny".. is kinda funny imo. 😅 At least we can all agree, Bill Hader is awesome, and has Gilbert Godfried levels of contagious laughter. 🙌 I laugh every time something cracks him up. 😂
Moral of the story, you don’t understand how great actual roast comics are until you see comedians like on this panel who give you very mid performances
