What I loved about Lawry's commentary is that he wasn't afraid to get excited if something went against the Australian team. He has always excited by the moment, and wasn't parochial (except when it came to Victoria and pigeons).
The best thing about Bill Lawry is you could be an Aussie or an Indian or a Pakistani or an English cricket fan etc and yet you would feel he was your commentator on your side
I remember I think it was in Adelaide when the wind blew over the side screen and his reaction was priceless.... "owww owwww owwwww the screens fallen!"
@@amitshah3818 do people love listening to harsha or tony greig . of course it would be tony greig. because his commentary is energetic ,thrilling etc . though harsha may be a good cricket journalist but as a commentator he is useless not suitable so lazy even though he was younger during his commentary days. and he failued to attract the viewers . i am not only saying about harsha. there are still many other useless commentator . who make cricket much boring with there commentarty.
@@strikerz2668 seems u do not know much abt harsha. he was popular in australia on 1992 in world cup commentary. his style is that he makes he co commentator who is cricket expert to speak out more and more by askiing question. Seems you are clueless . he is damn popular in world as commentator.
