Bill Moyers at the Howard Zinn Lecture 

How I've missed Bill Moyers since the Journal went off the air. He has given us so much food for thought. He surely honored Howard Zinn. I keep thinking, "what would Howard Zinn say to what's gone on with the Unions lately?" I reckon he'd be out there like Michael Moore is. I pray Mr. Moyers is with us for years to come.

As Obama's re-election campaign gets underway, remember every single utterance made by Mr Moyers here. Obama is counting on your vote and a blind spot where common sense about economic self-interests should be. "Yes we can", possibly. But certainly not with Obama.

In May, 2022, I see Bill Moyers as the man who had a bell and and rang out a warning...but no one listened in any meaningful way ELEVEN YEARS AGO, therefore it makes sense we are exactly where we are 5.23.22, 5:43 pm Pacific Time.

Too many long-winded, monotonous questioners that need to learn the skill of being brief and succinct in order to hold interest in the presence of such a great speaker as Moyers.

LETS GO BRANDON! Obama & his ilk gave us this economy, remember it wasn’t that long ago the globalists hated our President but it was good here because he put us first, as any President should. We’ve all been wrong! the sooner we admit it the less painful the rebound.

Manufacturing jobs are gone, and they aren't coming back. In 20-30 years they'll all be done by machines anyway. There's no future in 21st century for the uneducated worker. NAFTA isn't the problem. Our real problem is our lackluster school system and the Republican determination to divest it of resources to protect "creationists". Until well get the quality of Finland or the passionate drive of Singapore, our top flight jobs will continue to move overseas as well.

We lost an important voice in Howard. Perhaps Moyers can take up his mantle.

Mr. Moyers accuses corporations of "wage repression" whenever they take action like lay-offs; but since payroll is the largest expense on the income statement, it is strange that reducing employment lowers payrol, and thereby increases net income, which makes stock value rise. But it's true. Treasury stock buybacks however have never been hidden, and are considered a legitimate way to increase share value. Corps. do it all the time, and have to register with the SEC. bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbboB

Whatever , Bill Moyers attaching his name to Howard Zinn is like the Devil showing up for service on Easter Sunday . You should have done your job Bill . Thanks for nothing .
