I remember Alex Winter was on one of those talk shows. I think it was Arsenio. He said he saw an early cut before it premiered. He said it sucked. He was right.

I used to watch this show when it first came on Fox. Interesting to think these guys still had a career as Bill and Ted for many many years afterwards doing the Bill and Ted Halloween show at Universal Halloween nights

Ted's father in this one doesn't quite have that "stern police captain slash father" vibe about him in this like the movie's actor did. Or is that just me?
omg, it's like some media company bought out the rights to an awesome film and was left with no money for production so they used the change in their pockets to higher a cast and crew then they all got pissed so asked some random kids to do their jobs for them.
I can't believe this existed. Can you imagine if someone came up with a hair-brained idea of making a Wayne's World series? The 90s would have totally imploded!
I remember this being around when I was 9 years old, I loved the movies, but was to young to truly appreciate the shit job they did with the show, the concept had endless possibilities for his stories, could have been another "Sliders". But oh well it's fun to remember the good old days.

heavydude 74 ikr I'm definitely excited about the third Bill and Ted movie: Bill and Ted face the music, they're already n preproduction and soon they'll b n production just as soon as Keanu Reeves is done with John Wick chapter 3 and when they're finished with the third Bill and Ted movie they'll just need a release date 2 release the movie out n theatres hopefully next year instead of later on like 2020
Thanks for the upload. I didn't know the tv series actually existed. Loved the movies and the cartoon series was pretty good (especially the 1 st season that actually had the original actors doing the voice work). This doesn't seem that good and seems a little too rushed and thrown together. The one playing Ted does a pretty good job ,but the one playing Bill just seems like another character.
Amanda McKeever yes there was a time in the 90s they made tv shows based on movies. there is also a Weird Science and Ferris Bueller's day off. all the same wonderful quality
Johnny Orfei don't forget Police Academy also got turned into a live action series with David Graff and Michael Winslow the only 2 actors from the movies 2 appear n this 1 and the animated series well Winslow was the only 1 2 appear n the animated series
i think one of the reasons bill and ted works is the likability of the guys playing them Alex and Keanu are just so likable they made bill and ted who they are anyone else is playing them just feels odd and no offense to the guy playing Rufus but George carlin is just too good in that role its not a bad show the writing is ok but without alex and keanu they are not bill and ted
Oh man, I used to actually like this show. In fact, I taped all 7 episodes during its original run. Then I hit my teens and realized what an abomination this crap was. Still, nostalgia factor 9 on this one.
