I like how your cult keeps silent about how sexual predators, pedophiles and the like, run rampant at its meetings, and how it takes no stand on the dangers this presents. When asked about this by the media, their only response is to cite the 10th Tradition, as justification. Yet, if any other corporate entity tried doing this, its stock wouldn't be worth two cents, in as many days. Ah well, just one day's dodge at a time, I suppose.
I was actually very surprised when I started seeing things from the AA program on RU-vid and I don’t think it’s appropriate to do that at All because of The Traditions of the Program !!!!!!!! Attraction Not Promotion !!!!!!
Ladies and gentlemen, behold...the man responsible for why we have a medical field that feels obligated to call substance abuse a disease even though it isn't ever officially diagnosed by doctors. Instead, some non-doctor at a for profit rehab or detox facility looks over your little questionnaire and recommends inpatient treatment (which isn't actual treatment; more like a training ground for cult membership), in which you are told you have a disease that you were never officially diagnosed with, and if you try to question anything or exercise any sort of analysis or critical thinking, you get shut down. Wow. Thanks, ol' Bill.
Facts. The treatment industry will be worth $47 billion in the USA alone this year and 106,000 people died last year and that’s more than the year before and the year before and the year before. Meanwhile the number of treatment centers also goes up every year. Effective? Nahhh
Nope, not effective in the slightest. I'm the first one to admit "addiction" is a real problem. But it's a much larger, more nuanced, complex problem than you will hear about in the treatment industry and recovery cult. Of course, in rehab, they will give some sort of obligatory lip service to other ways of looking at the problem, but it's not hard to figure out where their true hearts and intentions lie: They want to Indocrinate everybody with the precious 12 steps, and I'd be amused to watch any of the defenders of this approach doing all kinds of mental gymnastics and double backflips trying to backpeddle and say this is actually not the case. Let me guess, I'm just "criticizing too much" or "thinking too much" right? You're God damn right I am. Shove it. I refuse to let go of my critical thinking faculties because a particular group thinks in one particular area, it shouldnt be used. Fuck the 12 steps
@@JakeyT-g9i Honestly they are so brainwashed they wouldn’t even be able to have a civil conversation on the subject with you. After the repeat the three or four sentences they’ve been taught to recite they just get angry and start yelling nonsense. They refuse to see that when we are questioning things it’s not because we are just targeting them and what is working for them. No friend, we are targeting your group because of the people you are harming. I think it’s great if people enjoy it and it’s working for them, but they should understand they are the minority and it’s not working for the majority regardless of made of statistics.
I hope more and more people see what is plainly obvious to us both. This is a cult that thrives on substance abuse continuing, because if less people have a problem, there's less people going to meetings to manipulate and less people to do favors for you and your social club. It may very well be true that there is no actual money being made by trying to climb up the ranks in AA, but there's gotta be something going on there. Why does it seem to me that all the hardcore 12 steppers I witnessed so happened to act and behave in the same way as the frat and sorority douchebags I encountered in college? If it’s a cult it’s the best cult i’ve ever joined. Saved and changed my life. People can believe what they want about AA, my experience has been nothing short of a miracle.
