what i noticed in jessie j's live performances most of the time, she let's the band or even the background voices to have their own spotlight as well, she's not owning the stage alone but she appreciate the effort of those who helps her music comes to life
She's so genuine and honest, and obviously talented! Her voice is so raw and beautiful. I don't understand why the audience didn't give her a standing ovation!
totally agree with you, i mean she battled that performance, and there were all the hiphiphooray people, with no Air in the balloon, nothing, I WOULD HAVE BEEN SO INSPIRED TO SIMPLY BE MOVING EVERYWHERE, PICKING OUT OF THE SEATS, NUDGING ALLL THE OLDIES up!!
Marvinglz Having a nice voice is one thing, but her stage presence is so powerful. She introduces her guitarist every time she performs too. She's bold and brave and I love her!

jerrie sambers She is well trained and maintains remarkable control and a degree of sentimentality over a variety of techniques, if it were to solely base your statement on this, i would certainly agree. But unfortunately if you are older than 15 years of age, you can't really help but criticize her poor song writing skills.
She is SOOO PERFECT! I don't understand how pop singers like katy perry are loved by a lot of people and jessie j who has an amazing voice is a "flop" with her songs and talent. Jessie J deserves more successful
it's fine.. in a few years time when the sagging skin on their thighs hang lower than the skirts hemline and double padded bras needed to push their boobs up, Jessie would still be relevant and we could say we've been rooting for her when others dont. Cuz that voice is gold, she could be sitting at the back of the room in her bathrobe, crow's feet and all, singing us her Masterpiece, and still mesmerizes.
Katy is actually good, but just with acoustics. For example, Uncondtionally in Ellen. And btw. I'm not hating on Jessie, but Katy's music is 1000x better. The only songs by Jessie I like are Burnin Up and Masterpiece.
I feel like the audience doesn't give her enough credit, but that's okay. Out most of the artists out there, I respect Jessie J the most. Although some of her outfits are quite revealing, she shows off her body in a very modest and classy way. Her voice is extremely raw and beautiful, and she seems to be very true to herself. Not saying she is the only artist out there like that, but she is one of my favorite artists because of how she respects herself despite fame and fortune. Jessie J is queen.
Look at the career of PINK who after all she's done, musically, in videos, she writes her own songs and her performances are like no one else's, and see how talent and standing in truth you'll see what the entertainment industry is all about. Alicia started out with Christina A., Britney S., also Justin T. and here in the states she has to remind people she sings on a red carpet! Standing in one's truth is always surely a lonely road to travel. The underdog has to fight yet without us who'd know what the struggle is? Just say.....Peace.

Lo Priscilla Dian I agree with the above comment, that someone shouldn't die for not liking this performance. However, more times than not, music isn't subjective. There's bad, and there's amazing, while being soulful yet swaggy. That's this, and someone who can't hear it, or perhaps doesn't have the capacity to understand it, is pitied because they are missing out.
That was live, that was a clean performance. Every note was hit accordingly. That vocal was a serial killer!!! I'm really mesmerize with this song plus the voice of Jess is fantastic. I just hope you will receive your major recognition soon. #thisDeserveArespect

Never knew how talented Jessie J was until I watched her perform in China. Extremely underrated for a performer. One of the greatest artists in the world to date. Her singing is perfect here. No flaws.
Jessie J's Live Acoustic Album has to happen STAT... This girl doesn't need over-produced background music, she shines best when she's in her rawest form.

When someone says Grammy Award winner, the first person I see is Jessie. The second is Beyoncé. I think Jessie deserves it for the power she's giving to her fans and putting into the music. There really are not adequate words to describe Jessie J. She's too amazing, too brilliant, too awesome. I feel blessed to be alive to hear her awesome sound and the possibility hearing her live gives me hope that quickens my heart.

Damn, like I would've stood up in the middle of the performance and start cheering for her cause THE CHILLS WERE REAL. No one even made a noise while she sang, but I don't blame them, they were probably starstruck.
I remember hearing Jessie J singing in Westfield London before she was famous. She sang a few tunes from her album and when I saw her I said: "who's that tall cup of awesome!" look at her now!!! go JJ!
I know she's an outstanding vocalist (this isn't even close to one of her best performances) but she needs to tone down the grunts/growls and slow down a bit. It sounds like she has anxiety mixed with anger. It's her style, but this performance seems vocally messier than her other performances & less controlled. She's so underrated.

but basing on her performances before on songs like momma knows best, this is toned down a bit. before, she wouldn't finish a verse without a superior riff or run but she barely does that now 😁
