I respect your opinion but I disagree, I think the two versions make a perfect masterpiece. The first part expresses sensitivity, caring about someone, and just loving another soul. However, the second part expresses anger towards another soul. Being mad at someone because they didn't appreciate you.
Both parts are perfect and the second half is more interesting and new, which is what actually makes the song stand out, so I HEAVILY disagree with the comments saying that it ruined it! HOWEVER, THIS is the part that my brain wants to hear over and over again, so thank u for making this lmao

This part will forever be my favorite, I have moments where I'm just in the mood for sad but peaceful and calm music, this always hits the spot and I feel like I can just cry peacefully feeling pure calm sadness.
Personally i loved this part of the song, i wish it was longer or even better a full song. But i love the artistic nature of the combined parts but I just prefer this peaceful style 😌

Am i the only one here who loves both halves? Because both of them are equally amazing and made the entire concept of the song work. The first half built up the second half while the second half deepens the meaning of the first half. Plus the way i interpret it the first half is billie ending things with the toxic ex as nicely as she could and the second half is her snapping to anger when said ex wont budge

I know this song is about breakups and stuff, but honestly I relate to it as a like, a friend who doesn't talk to you anymore, or a friend who you just can't stand anymore lol
