What is amazing is Billie is only 20 and her brother Finneas is 24, they write and produce together in his bedroom, no other help. Billie already has seven Grammy Awards, two American Music Awards, two MTV Europe Music Awards, three MTV Video Music Awards, an Academy Award (Oscar), two Guinness World Records, one Brit Award, and three Billboard Music Awards. They started at 13 and 17, you should watch some of her earlier stuff. x

I'm 68 and hadn't been to a concert in over 40 years, but went to see Billie on March 15 in St. Paul, MN [Xcel Energy Center] - she was/is awesome; when she sang "No Time to Time" it moved be to tears - the thought of young Billie and pretty young Finneas writing such a song for BOND - amazing! And the closing "Bad Guy" and "Happy Than Ever" with "Please" to say good-bye - unbeatable!

The black at the end is so none of the recommendations cover up the actual video itself. This song is about her abusive ex. Finneas, her brother, is also her best friend and has helped her work through a lot of depression and dark feelings.

“You made me hate this city” I relate to that line and I relate this song and your power so much because of past relationships 2 to be specific my 1st I was 14 he acted like he was 16 but really he was 21 in HS long horrific scary sad story don’t want to make ppl cry so won’t say it then there was my current ex my ex fiancée he was better not as bad didn’t try to kill me but he did hurt me with his words and narcissist side of him made ppl believe I was crazy he was the good innocent funny guy but really he wasn’t 1 week before our wedding he was caught cheating on me with a friend of ours a married women with 2 kids it’s been 5 months he see’s me finally starting to be happy and love myself again and his miserable so his been trying to get under my skin it hasn’t worked yet but anyway I definitely can relate to happier than ever and your power

OMG! You guys need to do some research BEFORE you start spouting made up theories. This is about a romantic relationship she had at 16 with a 24 year old. He betrayed her. This song is a complete catharsis for her. The cleansing by the water and starting soft, then getting angrier and letting all that pain out. It’s pure brilliance. Nothing to do with her brother who produces all her music (his name is Finneas by the way) and they have an incredible relationship. Just FYI. 😏
