Love seeing Billie act like a teenager in this footage and her older brother basically having to be strict and coach her through parts of the album-making process.
Finneas is so good at not just keeping up her confidence and motivation but making sure her voice is healthy and that shes prepared for her shows.... lets be honest, without finneas, billie wouldnt have had the ability to come so far. He is such an amazing big brother to her!
@@alskarmode I do actually. And what I mean is the studio...not the equipment.i make beats in my house... You literally don't know me nor was I commenting to you. Bye.
I don’t listen to her very much but I know how talented she and her brother are. And seeing them record and laugh, doubt, love and get into everything they record is incredibly inspiring. It shows the ones who want to get into making music that the song you make in your tiny room with budget equipment could win a Grammy.
Billie and Finneas remind me of The Carpenters. Billie doesn't SOUND like Karen, but like Karen, Billie's voice is unique and simply PRETTY. Finneas, like Richard, writes songs that showcase his sister's phenomenal voice while telling awesome stories at the same time. They're a dynamite team and their musical sound IS EVERYTHING. I hope they take music back to this standard of quality for others.
@@guilhermefd30 Finneas wrote her entire first album, and the second album is around 50/50. For example, for "Bad Guy", Finneas wrote the first part, and Billie wrote the second part after the instrumentals .
6:00 here she sings softer than the final recording. In the offical song her tone is a bit lower I love both but my fav is this softer and higher version
This is a bedroom in her Mom's house. Not a studio, which is the point of the video, to show what can be done in your home. Though you may need your own finneas for the audio engineering.
does anyone know the notes for the piano at 2:58 for bury a friend? I think it sounds really groovy ish and id love to know it so i can play it and i cant find it anywhere :) thanks!
the fact that the album won the AOTY makes you think how many times you want to give up something but if you continue you'll find out how aims can be beaten (english is not my first language, maybe "aims can be beaten" is not gramatically correct. sorry)
